Food | Where To Go For Cool And Quirky Coffee In London

Hello Lovelies! If you didn't know, 2016 was the year I challenged myself to try out more coffee places (#vickytriescoffee), the quirkier the better. And so while it was a pretty rubbish year for me, at least I had a lot of cool beverages in my hand for most of it. So here's my guide to the coolest and quirkiest places to go for coffee in London. Bring on that hipster aesthetic.

The Cutest Biscuits In London

At Biscuiteers the main attraction is definitely not the coffee. With several brightly coloured and beautifully designed biscuits on offer, as well as macaroons and a selection of yummy cake you'll probably forget they even serve hot drinks. But I'd definitely recommend one of their lattes alongside a cute biscuit, and if you have a super sweet tooth get the hot chocolate with marshmallows (it's amazing!). Also I have to say the service is amazing here - the staff are just so lovely!

Beauty | Essie Nails In Muchi Muchi

Hey Lovelies! First up, I hope you all had the loveliest Christmas. Mine was spent relaxing, for once. As the queen of over-thinking and doing a billion things at once, it was nice to actually switch off for Christmas and Boxing day, and throw all responsibilities out of the window. And even more excitingly, I was lucky enough to receive an Olympus Pen E-PL8 for Christmas so these are officially the first photos with my camera (eek!). I'm also hoping to re-boot my youtube, now I finally have a good camera and start doing videos again. So watch this space in 2017.

Lush | Satsuma Bath Bomb

Hello Lovelies! As I write this super last minute final Lush review, I'm sat in front of the tv watching the first Harry Potter for the billionth time. I don't know why Harry Potter is such a Christmas thing, but I'm definitely not complaining. Before I start this review, I should say I really don't like satsumas. They are my least favourite food thing in the world, and if you eat one in front of me I'll probably want to kill you #sorrynotsorry.

Home | Dartington Crystal Vase

Hello Lovelies! If you ever wondered where my floral crown obsession came from, you need look no further than my mum. She's always been obsessed with gardening and flowers, so there's always a fresh bouquet of flowers in our house somewhere. So I was super happy when Dartington got in touch and asked me to pick something from their collection.

Lush | So White Bath Bomb

Hello Lovelies! This is my penultimate Lush Christmas review and wow, know everyone is saying it but how is it nearly Christmas? Christmas is so hyped up these days that I feel like the excitement goes before it's even happened to be quite honest, but hey maybe if I down a gingerbread latte and put on my Christmas playlist it will hit me? But enough of that, today's review is a revamp of a classic, the So White Bath Bomb (£3.75).

Lush | Never Mind The Ballistics Bath Bomb

Hello Lovelies! Out of all the Christmas products this year, Never Mind The Ballistics is definitely one of the ones that has stuck out to me. Half yellow, half hot pink, Never Mind The Ballistics (£4.25) is a bath bomb that really sticks out among all the festive products. Scent wise, it's also a standout with a rather tropical scent made up of fresh banana, lime oil and orange oil making for a gorgeous fruity smell.

Lush | Shoot For The Stars Bath Bomb

Hello Lovelies! Another day closer to Christmas, and another Lush Christmas review! Today I'm talking about Lush's Shoot For The Stars Bath Bomb (£4.25), which is a personal favourite of mine. This year it was redesigned, with new gold glittery cocoa butter stars and a wonderful vivid blue. Whilst I did love the old design, I think Lush have done an amazing job re-vamping Shoot For The Stars.

Christmas | Stocking Fillers Under £15.00

Hello Lovelies! Originally I had lots of gift guides planned for this year, but after falling a bit ill and then getting a cold that has all gone out of the window. However, I still wanted to do a little stocking guide for you all as little presents are my favourite to buy. I actually pick my own stocking presents and my sister's to help my mum, so I have a LOT of experience doing stocking fillers. Hope you like them!

Home | The Monday Home Edit (19th December - 25th December)

Hello Lovelies! HOW IS IT CHRISTMAS THIS WEEK? Literally time has flown by so quickly it's actually a bit insane, and don't get me started on the fact that it's nearly the end of 2016 too! This week's picks are an eclectic mix of Christmas stuff from Oliver Bonas, House of Fraser, John Lewis and Ohh Deer - so I hope you enjoy!

Lush | Snowie Bubble Bar

Hello Lovelies! 2016 has been one of the saddest and strangest years of my life. It was the year we said goodbye to the complete legend that is David Bowie, and it's so nice to see Lush paying a tribute to him with this cool snowman bubble bar. Besides the cool design, Snowie also has a wonderful calming scent made up of grapefruit oil, rose oil and neroli oil.

Home | Cox&Cox Winter Wonderland

Hello Lovelies! It's starting to dawn on me that Christmas is nearly here, and you bet I've had Christmas songs on repeat in my head for days...  Today's post is all about bringing festive joy into your home with a little help from the lovely people at Cox&Cox. They recently got in touch asking me to pick a few bits from their Christmas range, and of course I said yes. One of the things I love about Cox&Cox is they're a little eclectic just like me. They love elegance, with a bit of fun and uniqueness thrown in.

Lush | Santasaurus Reusable Bubble Bar

Hello Lovelies! I'll let you in on an embarrassing secret: I've been singing 'Santasaurus is coming to town' for weeks. Yup I know, super clever play on words right there... The Santasaurus reusable bubble bar (£5.95) is a real triumph of design. I mean come on guys a dinosaur in a santa hat! What's not to love? It puts a smile on my face every time I look at it.

Home | The Monday Home Edit (12th December - 18th December)

Hello Lovelies! Ah I was doing so well with Blogmas but unfortunately I came down with a really bad stomach bug recently so have had to stop! But don't worry there are still lots of Christmas-y posts to come! Today it's all about H&M home, a brand that's completely won me over this year:

Fashion | The Cutest Phone Case From Case Company

Hello Lovelies! It seems Blogmas is somewhat working for me even if I'm doing everything last minute. But hey if it's technically just still on the day that totally counts right? Today is just a quick little post talking about this adorable floral case from Case Company*. Basically Case Company offer both pre-designed cases and custom designs, and luckily they offered to send me one.

Lush | Mistletoe Bath Bomb

Hello Lovelies! Today it's time for another Lush Christmas review! And this time it's Lush's Mistletoe Bath Bomb (£4.25). This was one of the Christmas products I admit didn't really catch my eye at first. Yeah I know it's surprising considering I love pink and mint, but maybe it's because apart from the mistletoe design it just doesn't feel very festive to me! Although that said I love that Lush always have such a wide range of Christmas products, so there really is always something for everyone.

Beauty | Barry M Molten Metals In Copper Mine

Hello Lovelies! You know I love anything and everything copper (I mean what blogger doesn't?) so when I spotted this Molten Metal nail polish by Barry M in Copper Mine (£3.99) I just had to try it. I'll admit that when it comes to Barry M nails I've been pretty underwhelmed in the past. I mean I do love their shades but I've found that they chip quite easily and can stain my nails.

Lifestyle | 14 Things I Love About Christmas Time

Hello Lovelies! It's no secret that I'm one big fan of Christmas so I thought I'd share with you 20 of the little things I absolutely love about this time of year. Here goes:

Home | The Monday Home Edit (5th December - 11th December)

Hello Lovelies! This week I decided to do some homeware gift ideas with a bit of Christmas spirit thrown in because I honestly feel like I've overloaded you with Christmas stuff recently. Also I discovered Boden this week, and I have to say I'm a little bit in love with their take on Christmas so make sure you check them out! This weeks picks are from Zara Home, Oliver Bonas, Ohh Deer, Luke Arthur Wells and Boden!

Lifestyle | 20 Blog Posts I Loved In November

Hello Lovelies! How is it already December and nearly the end of the year? It's actually kind of mind blowing. But I have to say I'm really looking forward to Christmas this year and I'm already totally in the festive spirit already. Don't even ask me how many gingerbread lattes I've had - it's shocking... As always here are 20 amazing blog posts I loved this month from some fantastic blogging ladies!

Food | Bears Ice Cream Company

Hello Lovelies! Today me and my sister ventured over to Shepherd's Bush in search of yummy ice cream at Bears Ice Cream Company. Interestingly Bears Ice Cream Company isn't your typical ice cream place. It's a sort of English/Icelandic hybrid, taking classic English flavours and making them in the traditional Icelandic way. In Iceland, ice cream isn't just a Summer thing, but a treat that you have all year round. They also make it in a different way to us Brits with typically one soft serve and toppings to add flavour. So Bears Ice Cream is perfect if you love trying something a bit different...

Lush | Ruby Red Slippers Bubble Bar

Hello Lovelies! Originally I assumed Ruby Red Slippers was a Halloween product, but as it turns out this Wizard of Oz inspired product is actually a Christmas one! It makes sense considering it's red and glittery - but hey it just gave me Halloween vibes. Ruby Red Slippers Bubble Bar (£3.95) has a really intriguing scent. It's a mix of carnation, rose and tangerine that creates a lovely mysterious scent. Not one of my favourites, but I love that the scent is a little bit different!

Food | Christmas At Peggy Porschen Cake Parlour

Hello Lovelies! This year I'm attempting Blogmas and I'm honestly so excited (if not a little daunted by it all!). I completed it last year, so let's see if I can this year too. It'll be a mix of festive and normal posts which I know technically isn't the done thing but I'm not sure I can come up with 25 Christmas posts! Today I decided to treat myself and headed to Peggy Porschen Cake Parlour in Chelsea for a Christmas coffee. When I'd heard they'd got rid of the ridiculously pretty floral arch they had last time I visited I was pretty disappointed, but seeing how pretty their Christmas decorations this year are I've been won over.

Home | The Monday Home Edit (28th November - 4th December)

Hello Lovelies! It's official, I've got the Christmas playlist on and I'm wrapping presents so yes guys I'm already in the Christmas spirit! You can tell me it's too early, you can tell me it isn't even December yet but honestly I don't even care because you know what Christmas makes me happy. This week's picks are from Zara Home, OhhDeer, House of Fraser, Asos and Paperchase.

Food | Hipchips Crisp Restaurant

Hello Lovelies! Every now and then I do some pretty crazy things for my blog, and this time I went to a crisp restaurant. Yes, you read that right a crisp restaurant. Hipchips recently opened in Soho, as the new Hispter restaurant completely dedicated to crisps and obviously it's caused a bit of controversy because let's be real it's a pretty wacky idea... The way Hipchips works is you chose your box size ranging from small (two dips) £4.50 to the large (six dips) £11.50 and your dips from savoury and sweet options. I decided to get the small, and went all out and got the chocolate s'more and creme brulee dip. If you get the sweet option you apparently get crisps with cinnamon sugar but for some reason I ended up with the savoury version...

Christmas | The Girly Gift Guide

Hello Lovelies! You know I love to do gift guides, so you'll probably not be surprised that I'm planning to do quite a few this year for Christmas. For this one I wanted to do a gift guide perfect for any girly girl who loves pink and anything adorable. Sorry in advance for the cuteness overload!

Lifestyle | Stickerapp Customised Christmas Stickers

Hello Lovelies! If you know me well you'll know I'm a little bit Christmas crazy, so when Stickerapp* got in touch and asked me if I wanted to make my own customised Christmas stickers I couldn't resist. Because I'm not blessed in the drawing department, I decided to collaborate with my talented sister @stylemoose who does her own illustrations and make some really special, quirky stickers.

Home | The Monday Home Edit (21st November - 27th November)

Hello Lovelies! After the loveliest week seeing my blogging bestie Rachel, I am totally exhausted. I can't actually remember the last time I sat down and did nothing, so that's probably my plan for this evening. Exciting, I know. This week I've officially gone totally Christmas, with a White Woodland theme (Effie the elephant technically doesn't fit, but she's cute guys so let's make an exception). This week's picks are from M&S, Oliver Bonas, Zara Home and Paperchase.

Lush | Jester Reusable Bubble Bar

Hello Lovelies! It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas... Or at least we're pretty near to December so I think it's justifiable already being in the Christmas spirit. Today's Lush product is one of my favourites from the whole collection, and it's not just because it's totally adorable (well done Lush for this design!). You guys know this by now but I'm never a big fan of the Lush reusable bubble bars, so the fact that this one has won me over shows a lot. Let's just say it's really great guys...

Home | The Monday Home Edit (14th November - 20th November)

Hello Lovelies! Have you noticed things are looking a little different around here? Well I decided to give the blog a face lift because I felt like a change, so I really hope you like it. One of my favourite things about the new layout is my shop the blog feature - so if you're a fan of anything cute or novelty socks you should totally check that out! I've also been super quiet on the blog as I went through a break up, but don't worry - I'm actually somewhat ok. Also because 2016 has been generally just a rubbish year, the theme this week is fresh starts and self care - so enjoy! Picks come from OhhDeer, Paperchase and Whittards.

Lifestyle | Autumn Walks At Kew

Hello Lovelies! I'm all about Autumn. Give me a fluffy blanket, a jumper, a hot drink and throw in a few crunchy leaves and I'm one happy girl. I also really love walking, mostly because it's the only exercise I ever do (never expect me to blog about fitness, it's never going to happen...). So making a visit to Kew just seemed like the perfect Autumn past time especially as I haven't been there in absolutely ages...

Home | The Monday Home Edit (31st October - 6th November)

Hello Lovelies! Today has been the busiest day for me as I'm very into Halloween. I've carved pumpkins, made my first ever pumpkin pie, handed out sweets and watched The Addams Family for  the first time. So I hope you guys had a great Halloween too if you celebrate! This week's theme is very Autumn-y,  with blankets, metal and even a slight woodland theme. Picks come from H&M, John Lewis, Oliver Bonas, Anthropologie and M&S!

Beauty | Makeup Revolution The Dead Are Alive Eyeshadow Palette

The Dead Are Alive Makeup Revolution Eyeshadow Palette

Hello Lovelies! Most people are out celebrating Halloween tonight, but I'm at home watching bad tv with tea in my hand. Yes, I know, I'm totally cool. But in fairness I do love reviewing eyeshadow palettes, so not that sad really. When I saw that Makeup Revolution had released two Halloween eye shadow palettes I knew I had to pick up one of them. I'm not one of those go-all-out with a Halloween costume people, but I absolutely love playing around with subtle Halloween makeup looks.

Lush | Pumpkin Bath Bomb

Hello Lovelies! Today I'm doing my final Lush Halloween review of the year *sad face* and this time it's the Pumpkin bath bomb (£3.95). Design wise this is exactly what you would expect from a Halloween Lush product - I mean it is a pumpkin! So it's really a wonder they haven't come out with this design before actually. Scent wise it's meant to smell like pumpkin pie, but to me it smells like home baking - a mix of cinnamon and vanilla. A lot of people say this smells fruity though so maybe my nose is completely wrong.

Food | Trick Or Treat Surprise Cake

Trick or treat surprise cake

Hello Lovelies! For Halloween this year I wanted to try baking something a little bit different, so I came up with the idea of doing a surprise inside cake following on the Halloween theme of Trick or Treat? Surprisingly it's super easy to make, so I recommend giving it a go if you want a cake that will wow but don't want to put in too much effort. Basically my favourite kind of cake...

Beauty | Topshop Spilled Milk Nails

Topshop Spilled Milk Nails

Hello Lovelies! Today I'm going to be talking about a nail polish I've been wearing constantly, Topshop's Spilled Milk Nail Polish (£5.00). I've always wanted to try white nail polish, but what's held me back is that I've been apprehensive that it will look weird or look like I've painted my nails with Tip-ex (which it kind of does, but oh well). But when I saw this Topshop Nails in Spilled Milk I decided to give it a go, because it's such a lovely shade of white.

Home | The Monday Home Edit (24th October - 30th October)

Hello Lovelies! Today is the beginning of my Halloween week on the blog and of course I have to start it off with a Halloween themed Monday Home Edit. Admittedly it was hard to find a good selection of Halloween homeware because there really isn't much around but I think I've found a nice little collection here. This week's picks are from Wilko, Matalan, Ohhdeer, Modcloth and H&M.

Lush | Monster's Ball Bath Bomb

Monster's Ball Bath Bomb

Hello Lovelies! If you were wondering what my favourite Halloween product is this year, you're about to find out. It's the spooky if not totally adorable Monster's Ball Bath Bomb (£4.25). Mine is annoyingly a little on the battered side, so you can't see his face as well as some of the others but still I think he's a little cutie. One of the best things about Monster's Ball is it's punchy scent - lime and neroli oil which is one of my favourites in a while. He also has a cute cyclops-esque cocoa butter eye, so expect a super moisturising bath.

Home | The Monday Home Edit (17th October - 23rd October)

The Monday Home Edit Bright Colours
Hello Lovelies! Recently London has just been rain, rain, rain and more rain so I wanted to give you guys a bright pop of colour this week, and also a bit of novelty fun. This week's picks are from Unique&Unity (Orla Kiely) and Joy.

Lifestyle | Squiffy Print Personalised Bag

Hello Lovelies! Is it a thing in Autumn where you suddenly just lose all your energy? Because mine has absolutely disappeared. On the bright side I've had some pretty exciting blogger packages recently including this gorgeous customised bag* from Squiffy Print. As you all probably know by now I love anything customised, so I've fallen in love with this cute pouch (£19.00) with my name in big glittery letters. I'm currently using mine to hold stationery bits and bobs, but it's also a great idea for things like bridesmaid presents as you can even have a cute little message printed on the inside!

Home | The Monday Home Edit (10th October - 16th October)

Hello Lovelies! Today the weather has been awful. I've been wrapped up in a blanket working and I'm not complaining. Can someone just bring me Starbucks in bed though? That would be heaven. This week's picks are a mix of pretty metallics and pastels from Zara, Oliver Bonas, H&M and Paperchase.

Lifestyle | 20 Blog Posts I Loved In September

Hello Lovelies! This post is so late this month because I've been in that weird adjustment period where I'm getting used to being back at Uni and generally just wondering how I'll balance blogging and final year. Ah being on the verge of proper adulthood, so not fun. But as always this is one of my favourite posts to write. I've definitely been struggling with blogger self esteem lately, so it seems like the perfect time to spread a bit of love and blogging positivity around.

Lush | Boo Bath Melt

Lush Boo Bath Melt

Hello Lovelies! Sometimes when it comes to Lush designs, simple is best and the Boo Bath Melt (£3.50) is a perfect example of that. Isn't he just so cute? Sorry Boo you aren't scaring me at all. But what might surprise you is that I've only ever used one Lush bath melt before because they're not really my thing. But you know what this year I couldn't resist little Boo. Its cute little meringue shape is partnered with a lovely calming scent of ginger, geranium and mimosa absolute giving it a floral but spicy scent perfect for Autumn.

The Monday Home Edit | (3rd October - 9th October)

Hello Lovelies! It is cold, I have slippers on, a cup of tea in my hand and let me tell you it is glorious. Is being happy about cold weather a British thing? Because I am way too happy about it. This week I decided to go back to basics and do a red theme, yup imagination is on point this week. All picks are from Wolf and Badger, Debenhams and Cath Kidston.

Lush | Northern Lights Bath Bomb

Hello Lovelies! It's October and it already feels like there's something spooky in the air. Personally I'm a massive fan of Halloween, so seeing Lush bring out a large Halloween collection this year has made me so excited as last year's collection was so small. This year has also seen the return of a favourite, Lush's Northern Lights Bath Bomb (£3.95). One of the problems with it last time was that it was too long, so kept snapping in half. So this year Lush have made it shorter, and added an orange disc on one end, and a blue disc on the other. I should also say that when I wrote this I thought Northern Lights was a Halloween product, but nope it's not, mind blown. It's actually a Christmas one, so whoops.

Lifestyle | Why I Still Love Blogging

Hello Lovelies! When you start blogging, let's be honest, it's all a little awkward because who knows what the hell you're even doing? You're like an awkward little turtle who doesn't know how to swim, and it's all just kind of weird and exciting at the same time. Then you get into the spin of things, and it's all amazing and you feel on top of the world. And then inevitably there's a slump, let's just say that's where I am right now. I'm at that point where I need to convince myself I love blogging all over again. And you know what I really do, even if I'm less motivated than ever. So let's have a bit of positivity and talk about why I still love blogging.

Fashion | Pretty In Pink Sapphire

Hello Lovelies! Usually when it comes to rings, I am all about the big statement pieces but recently I've been looking for something that I can wear everyday. So when Rocks&Co asked me if I'd like to try one of their pieces I jumped at the chance. Choosing a ring from their vast collection was definitely a hard task, but I knew it had to be pink. Call me a cliche but ever since I was young, I've always loved pink so their Ceylon Pink Sapphire Ring caught my eye almost immediately. And if that wasn't enough pink I put on my lace Asos dress and painted my nails the super pretty Rimmel's 262 Ring A Ring O' Roses because you can never wear too much pink.
