Lifestyle | Keeping Organised With To Do Lists

Hello Lovelies! When it comes to bloggers, most of us appear to have our lives together. Stereotypically we have super pretty stationery (usually about 20 billion notebooks, because notebooks) and we are super organised. I have the pretty stationery part down, but organised? Not so much. I'm more of an organised chaos kind of girl, which basically means I'm unorganised but somehow still manage to keep a reputation of being organised against all the odds. When I was at school, I was a little bit of a Hermione and used to meet all my homework deadlines but then when it came to my files, they were so messy. I basically just used to file my papers randomly at the end of every lesson which was all fun and games until I actually needed to find something or the teacher looked at my file.

Weekly Homeware/Gifts Picks (28th September - 4th October)

Hello Lovelies! This week I definitely struggled to come up with any sort of theme at all. There are so many things on my mind at the moment, especially as today is my first day of uni and I have a super early start so lazy-holiday-me might end up being a little bit tired and grumpy! But anyways, this week I decided to just pick things that I saw that made me smile and so the result was a rather odd mix of pug and Pinocchio but I hope you enjoy it! Picks come from Joy, Urban Outfitters, OhhDeer and Society6!

Lush | Ylang Song Bath Bomb

Hello Lovelies! After all the excitement of Lush's release of their Halloween and Christmas line, you probably expected my next Lush review to be something from that but I haven't even tried one of the products yet! I'm going to be reasonable and hold of my Halloween reviews till at least the start of October because at this time of the year there tends to be a bit of a seasonal overload so I'm holding back for now at least. If you follow my Lush reviews religiously, you'll know I've reviewed all the Lush Oxford Street Bath Bomb exclusives apart from this one, the Ylang Song Bath Bomb (£3.35)! With exciting bath bombs like The ExperimenterFrozen and Sacred Lotus available at the Oxford Street store, you'd be forgiven for forgetting about Ylang Song as it's probably the most understated of the whole collection being white with a simple flower on top.

Beauty | Opi I Sing In Color Creme Gloss Nail Polish

Hello Lovelies! On Monday I had the amazing opportunity to go to the London Fashion Week Blogger Beauty Bar hosted by The Blogger's Lounge, where I got the chance to meet a whole range of great brands and get some of their products to try! One of the brands was Pink Parcel, a monthly box all based around your time of the month, which you can find out a little more about here. I'd definitely recommend them as I think they are amazing value, as in the box you get period products (tampons or sanitary towels) as well as beauty and lifestyle treats all for £12.99 (P&P including). And if you're younger, they also have a box for young teens too, here. It's a brilliant idea if you want to make your time of the month that little less stressful - because let's face it, who loves their period? Not me I can tell you that, it turns me in to a bit of an irritable gremlin...

Lush | Halloween And Christmas Collection

Hello Lovelies! This morning I rushed off super early to the Lush Oxford Street store to see their new launch of the Christmas and Halloween products that will be coming to other stores too! Lush's Christmas collection is always a highlight for me so as you can probably imagine I was so excited. Here's some photos of the store and a look at what I picked up!

Lifestyle | Seven Lessons I've Learnt From Having A Dog

Hello Lovelies! Today I wanted to do something a little bit different and talk about all the lessons I've learnt from having a dog. We got Molly when I was about 10/11 years old from a breeder in Kent (I think!) after our beautiful cat Brooke died. We met Molly and her brother, who were both super tiny but Molly was even smaller than her brother because she was the runt of the litter. After painfully saying goodbye to Molly's brother who we really wanted to get too, we put her in a cardboard box in the car and being the excited little puppy she was, she ended up jumping up excitedly the whole trip back to London.

Then began the process of coming up with a name. I kid you not when I say we shortlisted to Maisie, Millie and Molly but of course after much deliberation we settled on Molly. One of the things I can remember is being really popular in primary school for a week, because when you have a puppy, you are everyone's best friend. But anyway nine years later, she is still as ridiculously excitable and adorable as she was back then, and I've learnt a lot about being a dog owner which I hope can help people who already have a dog or want one in the future!

Fashion | Three Of My Style Crushes

Hello Lovelies! In the spirit of London Fashion Week (so sad I'm not there, you have no idea...) I'm sharing three of my style crushes with you. Although fashion isn't really a big element of my blog so far, I'm completely obsessed with it and if I can get the courage to do more outfit posts, I've only done one so far, then I hope I can make it an even bigger part of my blog. Fashion is something that has really allowed me to express myself. I've never been one of the 'cool kids' and for a really long time I was too shy to even talk to people I didn't know, but Fashion actually allowed me to put my personality out there and made me feel a little less invisible. But anyway, here are three women who have inspired me with their sense of style:

Weekly Homeware/Gifts Picks (21st September - 27th September)

Hello Lovelies! Guess what? I've been doing these posts every Monday for over a year now, which is crazy and kinda scary because it really doesn't feel like it's been a year at all! When I started doing these I really only intended to do them for about a month or so but here we are. This week is my first week back at uni, and as a second year I'm feeling so old! All the first years have Freshers, and I only have to go in twice for orientation so I'm back at uni and not at the same time! This week I wanted to do a bit of Office Luxe, because I'm a little obsessed with desk spaces (I blame you Pinterest!). All of the picks come from Ohh Deer, Anthropologie, Kate Spade and Poppy Loves To Groove (Society6).

Home | Pretty Bedding From Yorkshire Linen

Hello Lovelies! For years and years I never had interesting bedding, just simple plain white sheets. Then a few years ago I got my first bedding set ever, a beautiful Liberty Hello Kitty design and ever since then I've realised how important it is to have nice bedding - it can really transform a room! So I was really excited to try out this bedding from Yorkshire Linen, a company that sells bedding and and a wide range of home decorations.

Lush | Tisty Tosty Bath Bomb

Hello Lovelies! I've had a Tisty Tosty bath bomb in my collection for ages, as honestly this one is so pretty I was actually quite reluctant to dissolve it. Tisty Tosty (£3.35) is a pretty heart-shaped bath bomb with rose petals and a wonderful floral scent. It's a whole mixture of scents but to me it smells like a lovely mixture of rose and lemon which I really really like. If you're not a fan of rose scents though, you should probably give this one a miss! The interesting aspect of this bath bomb is apparently it's based off a medieval love potion which I think is a really cute touch.

Beauty | Rimmel London By Kate Lasting Finish Lipstick In 30

Hello Lovelies! Guess who jumped on the berry shade bandwagon? Yup, me. I picked up this lovely Rimmel London by Kate Lasting Finish Lipstick in 30 (£5.49) a week ago, because my lip collection was really calling out for something a bit darker for Autumn. One of the things I was really surprised by is that it doesn't have a name, just a number which actually annoys me a little because I spent a long time trying to see if it actually had a name. Ah reviewer problems... Maybe I'm just too used to my beauty products having fun names?

Lifestyle | Studying Japanese And Korean At University

Hello Lovelies! Recently I made the conscious decision that I wanted to share a little bit more about myself on my blog, which hopefully you guys will find interesting... I've mentioned what I'm studying at university briefly here, but oddly enough I've never really talked about it in detail despite it being something I'm incredibly passionate about! As biased as I am I think both Japanese and Korean are AMAZING languages to study, and I hope with this post I might even encourage one of you to learn them. So here are some of the questions people most frequently ask me, and my attempt at answering them:

Weekly Homeware/Gifts Picks (14th September - 20th September)

Hello Lovelies! Having lived in London since I was born, it's a city that I love and am proud to call my home. It isn't just because we have the London Eye or red buses, in fact what I really love about London is the diversity. London is a city that I think almost anyone can live in and feel accepted, and that's what makes it really special. So in tribute to my favourite city in the world, all this week's picks are London themed! This week's picks are from John Lewis, Lagom Design, Waterstones and Cath Kidston.

Gifts | Tassen Happy Bowl

Hello Lovelies! It will come as no surprise to any of my followers that I love giving gifts. I love the challenge of finding something that my friends will really love, and isn't just amazing but has a bit of a personal touch too. One of my best friends Amy is leaving for university this year, so I wanted to give her a little something as a kind of uni housewarming present. We've lived five minutes away from each other for a few years now, so it's going to be really weird now that she's actually in Bath, not London.

Fashion | Autumn Vibes Wish List

Hello Lovelies! If I'm honest I don't usually give into the Autumn colours. I spent most of last Autumn and Winter rocking pastels (I basically lived in lilac, baby pink and mint) but this year I've really warmed to burgundy and purple clothes. Even though I've loved Summer this year I can't wait till we have lovely snuggly coffee weather and of course Halloween and Christmas!

Lush | Golden Slumbers Bath Bomb

Hello Lovelies! It's a testament to how busy I get in Summer that I only got around to using this bath bomb today. I actually bought it over a month ago with Yoga Bomb but it's been lying unused in my collection ever since. In all honesty I use the most Lush bath products when seasonal collections come out, so you can tell I am SUPER excited for this year's Halloween collection, and of course the Christmas collections because they are always my favourites!

Weekly Homeware/Gifts Picks (7th September - 13th September)

Hello Lovelies! If you've been reading my Monday posts for a while, you will know that deep down I love fun and quirky pieces, and this week I've really embraced that. From the cutest little sloth print to a pencil lamp, this is my week's picks from Asos, Jolly Awesome and Ben De Lisi for Debenhams!

August Favourites

Hello Lovelies! How the hell has September crept up on us so fast? Seems like only yesterday it was the beginning of the holiday and suddenly now it's all come to an end, and the British weather has decided to give up on me... Although I'm happy to say hello to jumper weather and hot drinks and of course Christmas because I'm one of those people who is a bit too obsessed with it, I am really not a big fan of September. That said I am looking forward to a new uni year, where I start learning Korean alongside Japanese eek.. It's both daunting and exciting at the same time!

Lush | Dragon's Egg Bath Bomb

Hello Lovelies! A couple of days ago, I had my own Daenerys moment, and finally got around to using my Dragon's egg bath bomb (£3.35). Dragon's Egg is deceptively simple looking - a plain white bath bomb with a few colourful discs sticking out from the side. If it wasn't for the name, it would be easy to overlook this bath bomb in favour of a more 'exciting' one. Scent wise I am a little in love. Dragon's egg has a lovely citrus scent, a mixture of lemon and Jasmine to create an almost sherbet scent.
