The Single Girl Diaries | The One Where I Said Goodbye

Hello Lovelies! When I first started this series, I had a few aims. One was to make people laugh (mostly at my own expense). The second was to write the series I always wanted to read, something that actually catered to the single girl. And the last was *cue emotional music* to grow as a person, and guess what? This week I did, major time.

Lush | Unicorn Horn Bubble Bar

Hello Lovelies! Lush's Unicorn Horn Bubble Bar (£4.25) is definitely one of their biggest hyped products, with everyone wanting to get their hands on their own even if it's just to take a unicorn selfie (don't lie, you people exist). So the real question is, does it live up to the hype? Well actually I'd say yes.

Vicky Bakes | Queen Of Hearts Afternoon Tea

Hello Lovelies! Baking is something of a rarity on my blog, but in reality I bake all the time. In fact I bake almost every weekend (and I always have lots of leftovers, be jealous). So I thought I'd start a series of things I bake, using the most imaginative title I could think of: Vicky Bakes. This time around I'm taking inspiration from one of my favourite books/films, Alice in Wonderland for a slightly alternative Valentine's Day idea inspired by the Queen of Hearts (Red Queen). I've also done a little video too featuring my best friend Amy - scroll down to watch!

Weekly Homeware/Gifts Picks (25th January - 31st January)

Hello Lovelies! Honestly this week I wasn't feeling that inspired, but it's probably because I just have so much on at the moment - why do Januarys have to be so busy? Currently I'm really loving blogging, I just don't have as much time to do it as I would like! But I thought I would do an owl theme for the simple fact that I really love owls (I mean who doesn't??). This week's picks are from Sass&Belle, Urban Outfitters, Lisa Angel, Not On The High Street and Omlet.

The Single Girl Diaries | 1,000 Reasons Not To Date Me

Hello Lovelies! Remember in my first diary post how I said this series could end up epically backfiring, well I'm pretty sure this post will come back and haunt me one day. Sorry future me. Also if you're wondering about the context of the above photo, it's actually one of my prom photos featuring dorky smile from yours truly and my ridiculously stunning friend Mary. This has no relevance at all to today's post, I just thought it would be nice to actually share a photo that has me in it (they are a rarity).

Lush | Lover Lamp Bath Bomb

Hello Lovelies! If you watched my Lush Valentine's Day Collection video, you'll know I picked up five products including the Lover Lamp (£3.95). My first thought was whether or not this would be like Lava Lamp, a bath bomb that had to be taken away to be reformulated because it made so much mess (trust me it was a nightmare!). But no Lover Lamp turned out not to be a reincarnation of Lava Lamp, but instead was a bath bomb I surprisingly really enjoyed.

Blogging | Why You Should Advertise With Me (Hint, It's For Charity!)

Hello Lovelies! Today I'm going to try and convince you to advertise with me, all for one good reason, all my proceeds will go to charity and I'm going to try my hardest to raise as much money as I can. Hence me shamelessly pitching to you about why my little corner of the internet should be advertised on (and I know calling it my little corner doesn't exactly sell it...). But hey, let me try and convince you a little before you totally give up.

Firstly, and most importantly I'm supporting two amazing charities. The first is The Cystic Fibrosis Trust with my top package of £5.00. This package is dedicated to Josie, a fellow blogger who has inspired me through her own struggles with CF and is the reason why I can now proudly say I'm on the donor's list. I've actually been overwhelmed by the support of this package as it's already sold out from February to May, which is amazing but you can still reserve your slot in advance for the later months.

My second charity is The Meningitis Research Foundation in honour of Natalie Scott, my friend's younger sister who sadly died last year from Meningitis. I wanted to create this package to keep her memory alive, and also to of course raise money. You can read all about Natalie's story here.  This is the cheaper package at £3.00 per month, and so far I've sold only 1/4 of these packages so there are still 3 available for February!

You can find full details of both of the packages here.

Now on to my blog and why it might be a good place to advertise. I won't lie and say that my blog has a massive following, it obviously doesn't but I can vouch for the fact that I have some amazing and totally lovely followers. Stats wise I currently have a total of around 120,000+ views and 10,000 views a month so your advert will definitely be seen by quite a few people (don't worry)! I also post pretty regularly, and haven't even taken a week out in over a year - proof that I totally have a life. As far as your package goes, I will try to make my approach as personal as possible. I'm really interested in getting to know your blog, and if you advertise with me I'll make sure to present your blog in my advertiser post in the best way possible (basically I will stalk your blog until I secretly think we're BFFs*). At the end of the day, I want you to get the most out of your package, so I will try my hardest to show to all my lovely followers how great your blog is!

Anyways thank you so much for reading lovelies! If you'd like to advertise with me, you can find all the details on my Advertising page. Also I was *just kidding, I'm not really a creep I promise.

Youtube | Lush's Valentine's Day Collection

Hello Lovelies! As I said before, one of my aims this year is to properly start doing youtube and so far I've been loving it - and this time I'm doing what I do best, rambling on about Lush. All the products you can see here I'll be reviewing before Valentine's day too, so stay tuned on the blog to see those! Do let me know if you'd like to see any particular types of videos from me and I'll definitely have a go at them. If you're curious about all the product names and prices, they're listed in the video description so you can check them there!

Weekly Homeware/Gifts Picks (18th January - 24th January)

Hello Lovelies! Whoever said January is the Monday of all months is definitely a wise one - anyone else exhausted? But anyways, this week there isn't really a theme (well at least not one as obvious as last week) but everything follows a sort of minimal white/black and gold theme. I also excitingly discovered the site this week which I would definitely recommend as it has a lovely quirky and fun stock. Anyways, this week's picks are from Howkapow, Liberty and Wolf and Badger.

The Single Girl Diaries | Not Safe For Lonely Hearts (NSFLH)

Hello Lovelies! We've all heard of NSFW (not safe for work) but I think it's about time that NSFLH (not safe for lonely hearts) was introduced. Hear me out on this one guys. 99% of the time I am totally ok with being single, and it actually does not bother me at all, well.. that is until I watch a rom com. It always starts the same way with the expectation it's going to make me feel all warm and fuzzy, when really it ends up making me in to a complete emotional mess. A prime example is this week, when I was watching Wild Child with my best friend Amy (happily in a relationship of course) and ended up shouting 'WHY AM I SO ALONE?' at the television in what can only be described as Chandler Bing Fashion...

Youtube | What I Got For Christmas

Hello Lovelies! This is a bit of a late post because my video decided it wanted to take about a billion hours to make its way to youtube, but it seems fitting considering how late I'm actually sharing what I got for Christmas. As always, this isn't me boasting or anything, I just wanted to share what I got with you guys because there are some things I really love. Also I filmed this video on Sunday, so have actually been at uni for two weeks (if you were wondering), early start I know!

Lifestyle | 11 Links To Brighten Up Your Day

Hello Lovelies! After what has been quite a sad week, I thought would do a little post to brighten up things. Losing both David Bowie and Alan Rickman this week has been shocking, as they seemed like people who would live forever. They are two men that have both really inspired me, and Alan in particular has such a warm place in my heart. I know when I'm older, and have kids one day I'll definitely make them listen to Bowie, and tell them how the guy who plays Snape was actually an incredibly charming man. But anyway, here are some links to put that smile back on your face.

Weekly Homeware/Gifts Picks (11th January - 17th January)

Hello Lovelies! This week it looks like we've just walked into a forest as I've gone for a woodland theme! Anyone who knows me well will know I love anything homeware that involves animals and there is definitely a good helping of that this week. I actually only just discovered an amazing site this week called and I am literally in love with everything. The only problem is it's an American site! So dreaded international shipping fees if I actually wanted to buy anything from there *sigh*. But anyway, I hope you enjoy this week's picks lovelies (one of my personal favourite themes!).

The Single Girl Diaries | If We Ever Meet Again

Hello Lovelies! This anecdote starts as many of my stories do, with me drinking coffee. Big surprise there right? But the one surprising thing is this time it actually wasn't a Starbucks, so hey give me some points for being not totally predictable. And if you don't believe my coffee addiction, see the above photo which is some (not all!) of the photos of coffee I have ever posted on Instagram. Call the blogger cliche police please, before it's too late... So anyway, back to the story. I was sitting in the Eat inside Topshop Oxford Street (one of my fave coffee hideouts) after my plan to study had epically backfired and I'd just ended up looking at clothes. Top student right here...

Home | The Quirky Bathroom Edit

Hello Lovelies! Bit of a random post today, but I'm currently getting into the swing of things again after being back at uni this week. Call me crazy but I've definitely got good new year vibes, on my blog at least (lets not talk about Uni work...) and I see the New Year as a chance to hopefully bring you some exciting new content. For today, I thought I'd share with you a few quirky bathroom bits. Bathrooms for a lot of people are always a bit of an afterthought, and usually are the dullest room. So here are a few little quirky ideas, to bring a bit of fun to your bathroom (because who doesn't need a bathroom guestbook - or cupcake toothpaste?)!

This One's For Natalie Scott

Hello Lovelies! This is definitely the hardest post I've ever had to write on my little corner of the internet. Recently I've thought a lot about what I want to do with my blog in 2016, and it's mostly been very trivial things like my schedule etc... Things that in the grand scheme of things don't really matter. But one of things I wanted to do above everything else is to introduce two advertisement packages for 2016, in aid of two different charities. I'll talk about the other in another post, but today I wanted to talk about Natalie Scott.

Weekly Homeware/Gifts Picks (4th January - 10th January)

Hello Lovelies! I know what you're thinking, this isn't what you usually see in my homeware/gifts picks - but hey I actually love a little bit of shabby chic every now and then. It all started with this gorgeous up-cycled lamp, and my mind went, well a little bit wild and I ventured into what I like to call granny chic. Picks come from Sass and Belle, The Other Duckling, OhhDeer and Zara Home.

The Single Girl Diaries | I Challenged Myself To Tinder For A Month

Hello Lovelies! If there was ever anything I learnt from single life, it's that I hate Tinder. Hate admittedly is a strong word, but it sums up my feelings towards the app perfectly. Me and Tinder have had a pretty on-off relationship. We met for the first time out of curiosity, then again desperately after a breakup, and then got back together one last time out of sheer loneliness. And that one last time, I vowed it would be the last. I'd met a guy there who'd messed me around, and it was the final straw. From that day onward, I would never use Tinder AGAIN. But then clever ol' me came up with a plan. I'd challenge myself to Tinder for a month, and share all the hilarity with you on my blog. After all how can you get hurt if you're just using the app as a joke for the sake of 'journalism'? It all seemed like one amazing plan, there was just one problem, I only lasted a week... So sit down, grab a cup of tea and I'll tell you a Tinder tale.
