Finding The Perfect Pair Of Heels

Hello Lovelies! Finding the perfect pair of shoes is pretty difficult, especially when you want them to match a certain dress or be a certain colour. I'm especially picky - so trust me you never want to go shoe shopping with me, it takes hours! So when the lovely people at Rainbow Club got in touch, I was intrigued to hear about their bespoke 'colour-matched' shoes.

What Rainbow Club do is they offer a deal where they will dye shoes from their collection into a colour of your choice. This can be any colour you desire, and perhaps the best part is that you can match it to a dress you own.  The service is perfect when it comes to special events like Weddings as you can get an exact colour match, so your shoes blend in effortlessly with your dress. Even though I'm not getting married (obviously), I was eager to try out the service and see if it actually works.

The first stage is picking the shoes you want to have dyed for you. Not all of Rainbow Club's shoes are dyeable, so be careful. The easy thing to do is just refine the results to only dyeable shoes, or just click the link here and you can see the ones that are available. I personally picked the gorgeous Georgie Girl Lace Shoes (£165.00)* because I thought they would be the best match to my dress, but there are lots more options, that are also cheaper starting from around £55.00 so there's something to suit everyone's budget. On top of buying the shoes, the bespoke colour pack service costs £25.00 so bear that in mind.

The dress I chose to match the shoes to is a beautiful mint lace one from Topshop, that's my sort of 'designated special event dress'. Partly because I can barely move in it, and mostly because it's so pretty I don't want to ruin it. I actually wore it for the first time on my 19th birthday, even though I actually got it as a 18th birthday present! (whoops). The colour I admit isn't an exact match - it's more of a blue shade than a mint one but in all fairness the picture I provided to them made the dress look much bluer. They did actually say that they weren't sure which colour to go with - they'd matched it to two, and couldn't really decide - and said that I could send the dress to them if I wanted an exact match - but to avoid the hassle I decided not to. What this does mean though is that if you really want to make sure the colour is spot on, you can - and the staff are really supportive and helpful too. This did actually make me wonder what would have happened if they'd been sent a picture of that dress, and accidentally mistaken it for being white and gold. That probably would have caused complete and utter chaos.

All in all, I'm very pleased with The Rainbow Club, and I'm a little in awe of these shoes. The lace details are so gorgeous and I love the colour. If you're getting married or looking for shoes for a special occasion I would definitely recommend them as they offer a great bespoke service - and most importantly a range of gorgeous shoes. Thanks for reading lovelies! Hope you have an amazing Sunday.
