Beauty | Normaderm Beautifying Anti-Blemish Care Day Cream

Hello Lovelies! After not having the best experience with Vichy's Dermablend Range, Vichy got in touch with me again and offered me a second chance with the brand to see if I got on better with another product. I actually really appreciated this, as often one product from a brand can be completely wrong for you, but another can work wonders. So here goes, Vicky tries Vichy, take two.

As I said in my last review, the foundation I tried from Vichy's Dermablend range ended up breaking me out, something that for me is not uncommon so wasn't really a surprise especially from something with such a high coverage. To be honest, I definitely have difficult skin - think dry patches, red patches and acne and you'll have my skin a nutshell. But Vichy's Normaderm Beautifying Anti-Blemish Day Care Cream (£14.50)* aims to erase those problems, eliminating blemishes, hydrating the skin and getting rid of imperfections.

What I like about this moisturiser is firstly that it's nice and lightweight, and a little does really go a long way too. Might just be me, but I honestly think there is nothing worse than a moisturiser that lingers on the skin and makes it feel oily, especially in the warmer months, so I love how light this is. I used this for just over two weeks, and found that there was noticeable changes in my skin. Firstly there were less dry patches on my skin, which was something I definitely noticed but my skin was still quite dry. I also noticed that I had less acne as usual, which I was impressed by as hardly any products really ever help to reduce my acne. Moreover, I found my skin felt more even and much smoother so I was left feeling pretty impressed by Vichy's Normaderm Beautifying Anti-Blemish Care Day Cream.

All in all I would say that I'm pretty impressed by Vichy's moisturiser. Only time will tell if it continues to help improve my skin, but seeing as I've seen changes in my skin already, I'm optimistic this could become a staple moisturiser for me in the future.

Thanks for reading lovelies! Have a great weekend! P.S I've decided to aim to post Monday - Wednesday - Friday during the exam season, so as of this coming week you can expect posts on those three days!

  1. Ohhh I'm glad you got on better with this one! Personally I really like the Dermablend, even though my skin is prone to breakouts, but I'm always looking for lightweight moisturisers that won't leave me feeling greasy, and this sounds great! x
