Lush | Lover Lamp Bath Bomb

Hello Lovelies! If you watched my Lush Valentine's Day Collection video, you'll know I picked up five products including the Lover Lamp (£3.95). My first thought was whether or not this would be like Lava Lamp, a bath bomb that had to be taken away to be reformulated because it made so much mess (trust me it was a nightmare!). But no Lover Lamp turned out not to be a reincarnation of Lava Lamp, but instead was a bath bomb I surprisingly really enjoyed.

There was a big debate about what this smells like, with a lot of people saying it smells like chocolate orange (yum!). For me it was more of a mixture between orange and vanilla, but nevertheless it's a scent I really like and I feel like would appeal to the majority. When you drop this into your bath, it starts to dramatically dissolve turning your bath a powdery white colour with tiny little hearts too. Now I'll admit I've never really been a fan of little confetti bits in Lush bath bombs, mostly because I think visually they don't have much impact but what I love about Lover Lamp is it also has three bigger hearts made of cocoa butter. These three hearts are great because you can massage them onto your body and they make it feel nice and smooth.

All in all, I actually really loved using Lover Lamp. It makes your water lovely and soft and the scent stayed throughout the bath which was great, and the little cocoa hearts just made it even better.

Thank you for reading lovelies! Will you be getting any of the Lush Valentine's Day collection this year?

  11. I used Lover Lamp the other day and completely fell for it. I found it smelled really strongly of white chocolate for me but wasn't too sickly at all. I think I'll stock up whilst they're still available :)
