Lush | Space Girl Bath Bomb

Hello Lovelies! Today I'm continuing with my reviews of products that will sadly be discontinued from Lush soon (if they haven't already), and this time it's Space Girl (£2.35). Shaped like a planet (Saturn?) with a glittery finish, it's one of the funnest Lush bath bomb designs with an even funner scent, one that smells like a mix between sherbet and blackcurrant. It definitely has a scent and design that would appeal to many and at the price of £2.35, it's one of Lush's cheapest bath bombs.

When you drop this into your bath, Space Girl fizzes away rapidly, spurting out purple and a little bit of red to create an almost ombre effect in your bath. To add to the experience, this bath bomb also contains popping candy which is a fun little addition. What I will say however is that the colour this creates in your bath is somewhat limited and the smell in particular fades away really quickly. The bath in the end is left looking a little dull and reminds me a lot of Lush's Hoppity Poppity Bath Bomb, as it is lovely to watch whilst it fizzes away but in the end your bath is left looking a little dull.

It may sound like this bath bomb isn't worth trying out, but honestly for the price which is more than a pound cheaper than most of Lush's other bath bombs it does deliver. Space Girl is a bath bomb I am really sad to say goodbye to. It may not be the most impressive bath bomb Lush has to offer, but it's definitely a fun one to use and will go down as one of my favourite designs and scents to date.

Thank you for reading lovelies! Make sure you check out my other reviews of the bath bombs and bubble bars that Lush will be discontinuing:

My reviews for the two final products, Phoenix Rising and Granny Takes A Dip will be up later this week, so look out for them!

  1. At first glance I thought it looked like a space ship but I agree that Saturn is probably a better description. LOL! Shame that this is being discontinued because it sounds really lovely.
