What I Loved In July

Hello Lovelies! July has been a very lazy month. I've been a little under the weather so I haven't really been blogging as much as I wanted too, so I hope in August I start to feel better and not be so lazy! The thing I have loved most this month is colouring books, specifically Millie Marotta's Tropical Wonderland Colouring Book which is absolutely gorgeous. I never actually expected I'd have the patience for them but I find them so calming! If you suffer from anxiety or are just looking for something fun to do, I'd definitely recommend trying one.

Food | Sugar Sin Sweets

Hello Lovelies! As a child I absolutely loved getting pick and mix sweets. There's something just a little bit special about choosing the exact sweets you want, and even now as an adult I still get excited when I rarely do. Sugar Sin is a sweet shop that I've been in a lot of times without buying anything - because really as an adult I find it hard to justify buying sweets for myself. But yesterday I decided to give in and finally buy some of their sweets.

Sugar Sin is a brand created by two sisters, Anna and Josefin, who wanted to create a sweet shop with current and quality sweets inspired by their Swedish roots. They have a beautiful shop in Covent Garden, which has a fun Charlie and The Chocolate vibe to it, the perfect setting for sweets. But don't worry if you're nowhere near London, they also have an online store too.  What I love most about Sugar Sin is that they have a really fun selection of sweets, some of which I have never seen before:

Weekly Homeware/Gifts (27 July - 2nd August)

Hello Lovelies! This week everything has got a little bit cutesy, all because I found this adorable cushion by Lim Heng Swee (one of my favourite illustrators) and I was instantly inspired. Perhaps its the cuteness getting to my heart but I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who reads my Weekly Homeware/Gifts Posts. I've had so much fun sharing brands and products I love with you, and I hope that if anything you've found some inspiration from them. This week I've picked items from Joy, Urban Outfitters, Society6 (idoodle) and H&M Home.

Review: Lush's Phoenix Rising Bath Bomb

Hello Lovelies!  Today I'm also sharing with you my final review of the Lush bubble bars and both bombs that are being discontinued, and it's my favourite of the group, the Phoenix Rising Bath Bomb (£3.35). Phoenix Rising is a mysterious deep purple bath bomb, it sort of reminds me of a melt in the middle chocolate pudding and I can kind of imagine them serving this for dessert at Hogwarts (Potter nerd here).

Lush | Granny Takes A Dip Bath Bomb

Hello Lovelies! Today I'm saying goodbye to Granny Takes A Dip (£3.25), one of my all time favourite bath bombs. With its pretty circle shaped design, it's one of Lush's most distinctive bath bombs and a real favourite for many. What I love most about Granny Takes A Dip is its intriguing scent, a lovely mix of pepper, ginger and lemon which makes a sweet but punchy scent.

Being 19 And Teetotal

Hello Lovelies! When I tell people I don't drink, I get a whole range of reactions. 95% of the time people react badly, and look at me like I'm crazy or something. There are so many assumptions made about you when you don't drink, so often it feels like a bit of a burden to tell people even though for me it isn't a big deal at all. Before I saw people talking on their own blogs about being teetotal, I was even nervous to tell my followers. But I think it's a good thing to talk about because honestly I don't understand why it's such a big deal to people. As far as I'm concerned, if you like drinking - drink! If you don't that's fine too!

Lush | Space Girl Bath Bomb

Hello Lovelies! Today I'm continuing with my reviews of products that will sadly be discontinued from Lush soon (if they haven't already), and this time it's Space Girl (£2.35). Shaped like a planet (Saturn?) with a glittery finish, it's one of the funnest Lush bath bomb designs with an even funner scent, one that smells like a mix between sherbet and blackcurrant. It definitely has a scent and design that would appeal to many and at the price of £2.35, it's one of Lush's cheapest bath bombs.

Review: Pixi Shea Butter Lip Balm In Honey Nectar

Hello Lovelies! If you read my June Birchbox review you would have heard a little about this lip balm but I decided I wanted to do a proper review on it because to my surprise this has actually become one of my beauty favourites. Pixi by Petra is a brand that I'd never heard before until now. It's a relatively new brand, started up by Petra Strand in their flagship store in Soho, London ten years ago. Since then it's spread worldwide, and aims to help women embrace their natural beauty and make the most of their looks.

Weekly Homeware/Gifts Picks (20th July - 26 July)

Hello Lovelies! Recently on twitter, a lot of people have been talking about where to get their blogging essentials. If I'm honest, I know about a billion places that do cute stationery so picking one notepad is never easy. So for this week I wanted to do a blogging theme, and show you some of my blogging essentials which will hopefully get you inspired to do a bit more blogging yourself. Brands featured in this post are, Gemma Correll (Society 6), Ban.do, Imm Living (Urban Outfitters), Paperchase and Ohh Deer.

Review: Lush's Dorothy Bubble Bar

Hello Lovelies! If you caught yesterday's post you'll know that I'll be reviewing all of the bubble bars and bath bombs Lush are discontinuing so that you can have a chance to stock up on them before they leave the shelves. It's hard to let go to some of my favourite products - but at least it means that some of the Oxford Street exclusives will become available for so many of you!

Review: Lush Amandopondo Bubble Bar

Hello Lovelies! If you haven't heard already, Lush will be discontinuing some of their products to make way for the Oxford Street Exclusives (not necessarily all of them!). This means that sadly we'll have to say goodbye to some Lush favourites to make way for these new products. Of the Bubble Bars and Bath Bombs, we're saying goodbye to Space Girl, Phoenix Rising, Granny Takes A Dip, Rose Queen (read my review here), Dorothy and Amandopondo. So I've decided that I'll review all of these hopefully before they are discontinued, so you can see if you want to stock up on them before they leave the shelves.

Review: Rimmel London's Brit Manicure Nail Polish (English Rose)

Hello Lovelies! Funnily enough despite being a total nail varnish addict I don't think I've ever really done a review on one - that is until now. Ever since investing in Bourjois Magic 2-in-1 Nail Varnish Remover, I've been much better at looking after my nails. Ashamedly I am one of those people who hates removing nail polish, so has chipped horrible looking nails 24/7 but Bourjois's nail polish remover makes it all so easy, that for once my nails are being properly looked after (yay!).

Review: Millie Marotta's Tropical Wonderland Colouring Book

Hello Lovelies! By now you've probably heard of the colouring book trend. It's been hailed as the new way to beat anxiety and to calm yourself down, and now is a bit of a staple in any book shop. For a long time I'd resisted buying one for myself, because I couldn't really justify it but after seeing how stressed and anxious my sister has been recently, I decided to pick one up for her as a little gift.

Weekly Homeware/Gifts Picks (13th July - 19th July)

Hello Lovelies! This week everything has gone a little tropical. You've probably noticed that the tropical trend is really big in homeware, and that pineapple items have been popping up literally everywhere. For me the Tropical look is definitely one of my favourites, as you can have a lot of fun with it and tropical prints in my opinion are some of the most beautiful too. This week, I've brought you items from Society6, H&M Home, Everything Begins, Graham and Green, Kith&Kin and Eastern Biological!

Review: Lush's Cyanide Pill Bath Bomb

Hello Lovelies! Today I'm bringing you another Lush Oxford Street Exclusive review, and this time it's the quirky and a little sinister Cyanide Pill Bath Bomb. Honestly I was surprised by the name of this one - Lush naming their bath bomb after a poison? Well stranger things have happened, and I do love the intriguing name.

Review: Zoella Beauty Tutti Fruity Collection

Hello Lovelies! If you've followed my blog for a long time, you might remember me trying out Zoella's Fizz Bar and body lotion and being very disappointed. When I heard Zoella was releasing a new collection, I decided to give Zoella Beauty another chance and try out three of the products in her new collection to see if I'd be surprised or disappointed again. On first impressions, I like the packaging but feel like it looks a lot younger then the past collection but it is pretty. Honestly Zoella seems to have targeted a really young demographic with her products - I'd guess pre teen to early teenager, so I'm not exactly surprised they've gone with this 'younger' look on the packaging.

Weekly Homeware/Gifts Picks (6th July - 12th July)

Hello Lovelies! This week my homeware/gifts picks are a little different as they all have a bit of an 'old school' vibe but I really fell in love with this look despite it being really against my usual aesthetic. Picks are from Chase&Wonder, Society6, UniqueandUnity, SassandBelle and John Lewis.

Photography | Walking With The Fairies

Hello Lovelies! Today, I was feeling in a bit of a photography mood, so I uploaded my recent photos to share with you. It's part of a series that is vaguely under the theme of 'walking with the fairies' because all of them were actually taken on ground level which I've never done before. I hope you enjoy having a look at them and let me know if you'd like to see more photography from me.

Fashion | A Little Summer Wish List

Hello Lovelies! This week I've been a little ill, and so consequently I've been doing a lot of internet browsing searching for clothes I can't really afford but would love to buy. I actually realised that I haven't done a fashion post in forever, so I thought I'd share with you a little Summer wish list.

Review: Bourjois's Paris Maxi Delight Bronzer

Hello Lovelies! After having a bit of a Lush overload on the blog, I thought I'd share with you something from one of my other favourite brands, Bourjois. If you saw my Boots Makeup Haul, you'll already know that I got this as part of a free Bourjois gift when you spend £15.00 on their products.
