Lifestyle | 20 Blog Posts I Loved In January

Hello Lovelies! Oh January, you were really not the one. You brought me an ear infection, and worst of all Donald Trump *sobs over a photo of Obama and Biden*. But you also brought a whole lot of girl power with the Women's March, and female and male bloggers just generally being fab, oh and also La La Land was great. So let's forget about all the negatives and focus on some of the great blog posts this month. Grab a cup of tea, and share the blog love...

1. I feel like everyone and their cacti plant have read this blog post, because it's just fab. Rhi wrote a post on how she grew her Instagram following from 1,500 to 7,500 in just one year. Get your pen and paper at the ready, you're going to want to make some notes.

2. You know I feel like we are all guilty of looking at other blogger's lives and thinking they are perfect, but Ellie has done a lovely post on why It's Ok Not To Be Ok. Go send her some love!

3. We couldn't cover January without mentioning the Women's March at least once, so head over to Beth's blog and read her thoughts on it.

4. Bel is lovely in real life, and if you ever get to meet her you'll realise she's a living, talking, walking rainbow. So I'm super in love with her latest rainbow inspired outfit!

5. If there is one thing I really adore, it's fashion. So I loved Josie's post on the Jazz Age at the Fashion and Textile Museum exhibition. It has all the pretty, fun dresses. Love.

6. Budget beauty is definitely my thing, so I loved reading about this Kylie Lip kit dupe from Revolution.

7. As someone who has really benefited from Mindfulness, I love that Jemma wrote a whole post about it. Completely worth checking out if you ever feel stressed or anxious.

8. Ok this post is cheating because it wasn't written this month, but I only discovered Sophie's blog this month so let's let it slide. She wrote a fab, fab, fab piece on how to contact PRs and it is so worth a read. It's a really thorough guide and she's even given an example email to really help you out.

9. THESE PHOTOS. Imii did a Paris beauty haul, and honestly I've fallen head over heels for her photos in this post. Just so stunning as always from her.

10. I discovered Maria's youtube and blog this month, and fell in love. She's a total babe, and she did a post on how her blog has grown and it's amazing to see how much she's progressed over one year.

11. I feel like every month I'm just like ya know Jordan looked gorgeous in this outfit but she just keeps killing it every month. How lovely are these outfit photos? She's such a princess.

12. The lovely Yasmina did a post all about her Cruelty Free Beauty favourites in 2016, and it's well worth a read.

13. Kate is honestly such a cutie, like for reals. I loved her new year post about Thriving over Surviving.

14. I'm in love with my pal Fran's Tumblr inspired room refresh. Just so much goals everywhere. Can she design my room please?

15. I loved Rachel's post on an Instagramabble breakfast - it just looks so yummy and healthy that I want to try the recipe right now.

16. I am in love with Kate's outfit post. Polka dots and the most adorable embroidered bag. Love, love, love.

17. My blogging pal Aftab has done an Instagram guide to London, and I completely recommend it. He's an Instagram king!

18. Ever heard of a dry brush cleaner? I didn't until I read Sarah's post, and now I really want one (my laziness at its finest).

19. The hot topic at the moment is fake followers, and I've honestly been shocked at how widespread this problem is in our community. Hayley has written up a great post about PRs and how they view fake followers... Read this and I guarantee you'll be surprised.

20. When it comes to beauty there probably isn't anyone's opinion I trust more than my good blogging friend Shireen's. She's done a fab post on her favourite liquid lipsticks. Go give it a read!

Thanks for reading lovelies! I need to make a massive note to self to comment on blog posts more these days. Maybe it's me but it just feels like nobody really bothers with comments as much as they used to and I'm totally guilty of that (even when I absolutely love a post!). So if you want a resolution for this month - go out and share the blog love!
