Beauty | Sleek A New Day I-Divine Eyeshadow Palette

Hello Lovelies! After tomorrow I will officially be on my Easter break finally, and I could not be happier about it. I feel like a snail on a running machine - the exhaustion is real. Today I'm going to be talking about the Sleek A New Day I-Divine Eyeshadow Palette (£7.99). This is a palette I've been eyeing up for a while (no pun intended), because the shades are just so pretty and I'm a big Sleek fan. I actually own four Sleek palettes now, including the Vintage Romance eye shadow palette, and have used and absolutely loved each one.

The A New Day palette is designed to give you looks that are perfect for everyday wear, with matte and shimmer shades if you want to go for a slightly fancier look. I've already said this, but I'll say it again - the shades are so pretty. My favourite's are the ones in the top row, as they are such lovely warm shades but I also love the carpe diem shade as it's such a lovely pinky/brown.

(Bottom Row)

If I'm honest I was a little disappointed with this palette, simply because a few of the shades were quite chalky and hard to apply compared to other Sleek palettes I've owned. Sleek palettes in general also tend to have quite a bit of fall out which isn't really a big deal, it can just be annoying when you try and apply them. But what makes this palette great is how the shades look when applied, which ultimately is the most important thing. They give a really strong long lasting colour, making this perfect if you're looking for a good quality palette that won't break the bank. And honestly, the shades make this such a great staple palette as it has a great selection for everyday looks.

All in all, despite its faults, I am in love with this palette and would definitely recommend sleek to anyone. Let me know if you're a fan of Sleek - and please do recommend me some products as I've only really tried the eye shadows! Thanks for reading lovelies.

  1. This palette looks so beautiful! I actually prefer the bottom row of shadows as they are more the types of shades I would wear. It's disappointing that not all of the shadows worked as well as you would of liked them too. I've only really tried the eyeshadow palettes and also a blush palette from Sleek which I really liked.

  7. This palette is gorgeous! I am a bit surprised though that some of the colours don't look quite the same in the swatches as in the palette itself. They are super pretty nonetheless, and although you can find some flaws in the quality of the texture, it does look like it's still worth it!

  10. Woo I'm on Easter break too, feels good doesn't it haha!! I've always wanted to try Sleek, I don't think I've ever tried their products before, but I have continuously heard good reviews about their eyeshadow palettes in particular! This one looks gorgeous, alongside a lot of their other ones, so I'm 100% adding them to my shopping list. xxx
