Gifts | What I Got My Sister

Hello Lovelies! Before I start this blog post I just wanted to do a shout out to my sassy friend Scott who found out about my blog yesterday. Apparently telling people about my blog doesn't embarrass me any more? Don't get me wrong I still cringe at myself, but it's nice actually being able to tell people because that used to scare me way too much. But anyway, back to the point, yesterday was among other things my sister's birthday. It was actually also Remembrance day too and funnily enough Peppero day (a day completely dedicated to the snack Peppero, because the date 11/11 looks like it). But really most importantly in the Nightingale household it was my sister's birthday so I wanted to share with you a couple of things I bought for her because 1) I am obsessed with gifts and 2) as a little tribute to her 23rd birthday.

For her card we got her this adorable Pug birthday card, handmade by Tache Crafts. What I love most about this card is all the little details. The inside of the envelope is super vibrant and fun, and I love that they give you a little pug sticker to seal the card. Admittedly the card was a little expensive, but definitely worth it if you want something a little bit more special.

If you're a religious follower of my Weekly Homeware/Gifts picks then you'll have seen this elephant teapot I featured a little while ago here. I never actually expected to buy one, but seeing as my sister is a massive fan of elephants I suddenly just realised it would be perfect for her. Regardless of that it is just so adorable anyway. If you're tempted to get one yourself, you can find them at Urban Outfitters.

Ok, see a theme developing here? This is actually another one of my Weekly Homeware/Gifts picks but hey isn't it an awesome print? You can tell my sister is an animal lover, because she also absolutely adores sloths (I have no idea how this obsession started...) so I knew this would be perfect for her too. You can pick one of these up at Jolly Awesome, where you'll find some more amazing prints too!

Thank you for reading Lovelies! Let me know if you're TEAM SLOTH or TEAM ELEPHANT or actually even TEAM PUG (God there's a lot of animals in this post, that's diversity for ya').
