Weekly Homeware/Gifts Picks (10th August - 16th August)

Hello Lovelies! This week all of my homeware and gift picks come from one place, Habitat. If you've never heard of the brand before they are well known for their modern and slick design. The company was actually started in the 60s and aimed to revolutionise the way we shop for our homes and inject colour into the world after post-war gloom. Habitat goes by the mantra of 'useful can be beautiful and beautiful can be affordable' and this can be seen throughout their lines with functional yet beautiful, yet affordable pieces.

1. Meera Orange Quilted Cushion £20.00 [x] : Orange is actually one of my favourite colours because it works so well as a contrast colour. Pop this beautifully quilted cushion on to a grey sofa to really see the colour pop.

2. Lula Yellow Metal Table Lamp with Fabric Shade £25.00 [x] : This Lula lamp (which comes in several shades) is simple yet modern and I love how they've matched the cable to the rest of the lamp so it blends in more effortlessly!

3. Bumble Yellow Side Table £65.00 [x] : Their is something almost a little cartoonish about this bedside table but that sort of what I love about it plus it has a helpful little shelf inside where you can store your things. Also comes in a variety of colours too.

4. Honeycomb Gold Finish 7 bottle wine rack £30.00 [x] : Admittedly wine racks are not something I look at very often but wow, how pretty is this Honeycomb Gold finish wine rack? Perfect if you want a stylish way to display your wine plus with its compact design it will fit easily on to a kitchen tabletop.

5. Miu Yellow Patterned Cuckoo Wall Clock £25.00 [x] : Ok so this cuckoo clock is definitely on the end of the kooky spectrum but I love how quirky and fun it is. It's the sort of thing I'd imagine a modern snow white to have in her home.

6. Leto Grey and Cream Reversible Patterned Throw £80.00 [x] : If you want to instantly update a sofa or bed, then this reversible patterned throw is perfect for a minimal look with a colourful edge.

Thank you for reading lovelies! Let me know what you liked most from this week's picks in the comment section below!

  3. It took me a while too to realise what number 4 was, I'm not that much of a fan of wine to own a wine rack but it's amazing! Maybe it could be used as a rum rack instead? I love the geometric look with all the items!
