Review: Lush's Milky Bath Bubble Bar

If you've been following my reviews of Lush's Oxford Street exclusive products, you'll have noticed that I haven't reviewed any of their bubble bars yet. This is for two reasons, one I prefer bath bombs and two the bubble bars are usually really expensive in comparison. That said when I saw this Milky Bath Bubble Bar (£3.75) I fell a little in love with its adorable design (how cute is that glitter bottle top?!), and it's not too hard on the wallet either.

The Milky Bath Bubble Bar is a good size - and could stretch to use in two baths although personally I went all out and used it for one. When you crumble this under running water it feels so lovely and creamy in your hands that it doesn't really take much for it to break down at all. Scent wise I can't really describe how it smells, but it's ever so slightly sweet and super comforting - that is the best I can do! It makes your water reasonably bubbly as you can see, but it was a little lacklustre considering it was a full bubble bar but there were still a lot of bubbles. That said, this was probably one of the nicest baths I've had because it felt so comforting, and the water just felt so silky smooth and ah-mazing. The smell also lingers on your skin afterwards, and your skin feels lovely and soft too. As you can see the water turns a cloudy colour, and there's a little bit of glitter too but it's really not that noticeable - nor does it hang around after the bath has been drained.

All in all, I really loved this bubble bar. It is perfect for one of those days when you've been a little stressed out or just super tired, as it's a great way to just unwind and relax. Honestly I did not want to get out of the bath when I used it, it was that lovely.

Thank you for reading lovelies! Have you had a chance to visit Lush's Oxford street store yet?
