Review: Lush's Immaculate Eggception Pink Bath Bomb

Hello Lovelies! Today I'll be sharing you my final product review from Lush's Easter collection. Before I tell you about Immaculate Eggception, I just have to say that I have loved this collection so much from Lush, so hats off to them for producing it and getting me into the Easter spirit.

The Immaculate Eggception bath bomb (£6.95) comes in two colours pink and yellow, and is essentially the Easter version of Lush's Love Locket Bath bomb as you're expected to break this in half to reveal a surprise. In the case of this bath bomb, you'll either find a cute chick (like me) or a rabbit. Cracking open the bath bomb is pretty hard, and I epicly failed at it, as I ended up hacking at it for a good five minutes before it opened and getting pink dust everywhere (whoops!). Most people seem to just hit it against a hard surface like the side of their bath to open it, but it's pretty hard to do it. The idea though is that it's essentially three bath bombs in one, but for my bath I just used all three because I was feeling indulgent.

I can't quite pinpoint what this smelt of, all I know is that I loved the smell. According to the Lush website it's a mixture of Vanilla, Grapefruit and Lemon which is a surprisingly good combination. When you put this in the water, it turns your bath a bright pink colour. I have to say though that like with Love Locket I was pretty disappointed with the actual bath bomb as for the money paid it's very simple and just dissolves into one colour.

All in all I loved the idea of this bath bomb, I just wasn't blown away by the end result. Don't get me wrong, it's fun, especially cracking it open and finding a cute animal there but I felt like the actual bath bomb was pretty dull when it actually reached the water.

Thank you for reading lovelies - and I hope (for you that celebrate) you have a lovely Easter!

    1. Happy Easter to you too Ellen! And yeah it was nice, but I'm not quite sure it was worth the money in all honesty - even if it is technically three in one!
