Kate Moss's Red Nose Lipstick

Hello Lovelies! Yesterday I picked up Kate Moss for Rimmel London's Red Nose Day Mascara. For those of you who don't know what Red Nose Day is I'll explain it.

Over here in the UK we have a charity called Comic Relief who fund charities and projects all over the world and in the UK covering a whole range of problems and issues. The idea behind Comic Relief is that we use humour and fun to raise money. That's where Red Nose Day comes in. For me red nose day is a very nostalgic thing, I can remember really vividly picking up the 2003 + 2005 noses and completely loving them, especially as we could wear them to school. '07 was the red nose made out of foam (which quickly got chewed up by my dog) and many other fun designs have followed since then. But why red noses? Well the simple answer is that it mimics a clown's nose and it's definitely hilarious seeing your friends, teachers and colleagues wearing them.

On Red Nose Day, we also have a big comic relief program with lots of comedians and celebrities coming together for hilarious comedy sketches, performances, and to help raise money. Amazingly comic relief has raised over £950 Million so far!

The Red Nose Day Lipstick is just another way to help fundraise. The packaging is really cute (I love the red nose detail on the top) and the colour itself is a really lovely red with a shiny finish. It also lasts pretty long and survived my lunch and a drink - without fading too much! So I would definitely recommend this to anyone, especially as it's for charity!

Will you be picking up one of the red nose day lipsticks to support comic relief? They are £5.49 with £1.67 going to comic relief per lipstick! Thank you for reading lovelies!

  1. When I first saw the title of this post, I thought it was red nose from snorting coke lol :) Glad it's for a good cause. Sounds like a fun day - wish we had it in the States!

  3. I think I heard something about this last year on another British blog and I must say it was the first time I ever known it. You should do a swatch of this lipstick, Vicky! I love red lips so I'm really curious about this shade.

    1. Haha the funny thing is I actually swatched this and forgot to add the photo so I might try and put it up later. It really just looks like the colour on Kate Moss's lips though if you're curious!

  4. This is such a lovely post! I really wanted to purchase this lipstick but haven't had a chance! I've picked up some wristbands and noses already. It's weird now I've realized I still have a nose from 2001! Crazy...
