Lush | Chick 'N' Mix Bath Bomb

Hello Lovelies! This year's Lush Easter collection honestly had me a little underwhelmed, only really because there was only one new bath bomb or bubble bar this year (if you don't include the exclusives) *sad face*. But Lush's Chick 'N' Mix bath bomb definitely made up for it all with its super fun and innovative design. With three parts, it's pretty similar to the likes of last year's Humpty Dumpty or Lush's classic Which Came First? Bath Bomb but with one key difference, the parts all come separate. Pretty cool right? Well pretty cool apart from it's a nightmare trying not to break it, which is really my only complaint.

With three different parts, it poses the question of how to use it. At the price of £6.95 it's probably best to try two or three baths. However curiosity got the better of me so I chucked it all in at once just to see what it looked like. To my surprise there was actually a really gorgeous explosion of colour and it was a joy to watch it dissolving. Scent wise it's a bit average for me as it's a sweet but sort of woody scent - a mixture of Tonka and Bergamot but it's not one I don't like either. The only thing that slightly annoyed me about this bath bomb though is the mess it leaves afterwards. Let's just say my bath made it look like I'd just bathed after being covered in mud, not the most pleasant look Lush.

For me the Lush Easter collection will always be about fun and childhood nostalgia, so really with Chick 'N' Mix I think Lush have nailed it on the head. It's not the most stunning bath bomb ever by any account but it's a fun Easter bath bomb that I loved trying out!

Thanks for reading lovelies! I hope you have a great week!

  1. I'm so glad that it isn't just me who's not particularly fussed by this years Easter range! This one looks pretty in the water, but it's not the colour that I'd go for!xx

  2. I love your Lush reviews! I visited my first Lush in a long time the other day and was excited to spend some money on the Easter collection but was completely disappointed at the selection so I left with nothing. ♥

  4. The colours in the bath are so pretty, however it is really annoying when bath bombs stain the bathtub. It's good that they've made it separate into three bits, however it seems to be better used altogether. The shape of it is super cute!
