Fashion | Feeling Blue

Hello Lovelies! All throughout my life, my favourite colour has see-sawed between pink and blue, but recently I've been all about blue. So give me blue in all the pastel shades and I am one happy girl. One of my absolute Spring staples is this Vera Moda Gingham Ruffle Smock Dress which psst! is currently in sale at only £22.00! For me it's always hard to get used to smock fit dresses, because I love everything to be fitted (oversized clothes make me feel a bit like a paper bag), but I've embraced this pastel blue gingham number of dreams. My family have joked it makes me look like a picnic blanket, but hey at least it's a pretty picnic blanket!

Another blue favourite of mine is this pretty blue bra from Topshop, which I think isn't being sold anymore but you can find a lot of similar ones on their site. It's super pretty, but the fit is definitely a bit off as it can feel a bit too tight, so I recommend trying their bras on if you can because in my experience, they are always super pretty but can be a bit too small at times.

Now can we talk about these Asos bow socks? I'm a tad obsessed. Not only are they super pretty, but wearing them makes me feel like a bit of a princess. Yes the bows are super impractical but does that matter when they're so P-R-E-T-T-Y? Nah I don't think so.

Finally let's talk about the heels. These Mary Jane Heels* are my new obsession. I love their vintage style, and can't wait to wear them at a special event or when I'm just feeling extra sassy. They come from Rainbow Club who actually specialise in wedding wear, but they also have shoes like these Mary Jane Heels that could easily be worn at any kind of occasion. The great thing about Rainbow club is that you can get the shoes hand dyed to the exact colour you want for just £25.00 extra. You can either send them your dress, or pick a specific colour you want the shoes to be, and then they will hand dye them to the exact colour which is actually pretty fab. I chose this beautiful blue colour and I couldn't be more in love - isn't it so pretty? The heels look lovely on, but the only thing I will say is they are a little narrow so keep that in mind if you have wide feet like me!

Thank you for reading lovelies! What's your favourite colour to wear at the moment?

  1. That is such a pretty pair of heels and I agree, it can be worn for any occasions, love the powder blue shade too. I love blue but my choice are always dark navy blue instead of soft, pastel ones.
