Beauty | L'Oreal Paris Colour Riche A L'Huile Nail Polish In Dimanche Apres Midi

Hello Lovelies! As I'm writing this the sun is shining (finally) and I'm watching the Wimbledon Men's final with a cup of tea in my hand. I'm pretty sure I couldn't be more British if I tried... Today I thought I'd bring you another nail polish review - I know I've done so many recently, but as far as beauty goes nail products are exciting me the most (chipping and nail polish remover aside). So after branching out and trying Lottie London's Slumber Party, the prettiest lilac which I absolutely LOVED, I thought it was about time I tried another brand's offering - so here I am trying out L'Oreal Paris.

The first thing I will say is that I love the packaging in the L'Oreal Paris Riche A L'Huille collection, and it may actually be my favourite for nails. It's super classy and elegant, and I just love how it looks on my bedside table. Blame Superdrug's 3 for 2 deal on this, but I ended up getting three nail polishes from the collection, and my favourite so far is this shade, Dimanche Apres-Midi (£4.99) which is the prettiest pale pink colour. Am I the only one who seems to buy endless amounts of pink nail polishes? I have so many in my collection...

Let's start with application. This is actually super easy because the brush is a dream. It's a bit on the wider side but it's great as it doesn't build up the product or drip nail polish everywhere. As this is a lighter nail polish you do need about three coats till it's opaque (without a base coat), but in fairness a lot of pale nail polishes are like this so it doesn't bother me. One of the really unique things about this nail polish though is that it smells divine, kind of like love hearts or sweets but not overpowering. So if you use it you may awkwardly find yourself smelling your nails, not exactly normal... What is great about this polish though is its lasting power, and also its lovely glossy finish. Without a top coat it has lasted almost a week with hardly any chips at all. So all in all I am super impressed by this nail polish, and I think for £4.99 it's a bargain when you consider what great quality it is.

Thank you for reading lovelies! Have a great Sunday!
