Lifestyle | Goodbye 2015, Hello 2016

Hello Lovelies! Wow, time has really flown by quickly, huh? Honestly I really can't believe it's about to be 2016, and in a way I'm sad to say goodbye to 2015. Of course as with any year, it had mixed moments. But for me it was a year where I transformed, and learnt to be happy and not be so hard of myself. It had its difficult moments sure, but I've loved the majority of it and I've met so many great people. So I thought I'd do a little round up post of the year and I've even filmed a youtube video so I can personally say hi too!

2015 in My Life

- I went to Japan and South Korea for the first time in the Spring, and it was amazing. Japan especially was one of the most beautiful places I've ever been to.
- I started my second year of university and started learning Korean alongside Japanese. It's crazy, but so worth it.
- I made a new best friend at uni called Scott, who I absolutely love.
- I designed a book cover for my dad's book, which you can buy here!
- I started reading Interior design magazines and became obsessed and found my new favourite, LivingETC.

2015 on the blog

- I hit 114,000 page views, which is crazy. Thank you all so much.
- I attended lots of Blogger events and completely stepped out of my comfort zone.
- I tried a teatox and had 'interesting' results...
- I continued my Weekly Homeware/Gifts picks series, and manage to post it every Monday (whoop!)
- I reviewed lots and lots of Lush (and it was totally worth it!)
- And I made friends with some amazing bloggers. I won't list you, but you know who you are!

Thanks for reading lovelies! Here's to 2016, I hope you have an amazing year!

  3. You made me tear up and I'm supposed to be a hard-core b*tch! LOL! Hugs and you already know how much I love you. I honestly hope you'll make more YouTube videos in 2016, I swear I could listen to you all day long, your voice is as soothing as Lisa Eldridge and the accent is pretty similar too. And I would love to be a part of your advertising, it's for a very good cause and I would love to support it but it has to be after I'm back from Malaysia because I'm taking a blogging hiatus pretty much the whole of February. And I had no idea your dad is a writer! The book sounds brilliant and we'll be buying the Kindle version or I'll be bugging my husband to buy it.

Happy New Year to you, Vicky, you're my first true friend who I met through blogging...you're more than a blogging friend to me, honestly your friendship has been one of the biggest highlights in my blogging career. Hugs!
