Christmas | The Christmas Tag

Hello Lovelies! It has been a long long while since I've done a tag but I was tagged by the lovely Fran and it's a Christmas one - so why not? I'm not going to tag anyone in particular back, because I want to invite you all to give it a go!

1. What is your favourite thing about Christmas? For me it's being together with family and just genuinely feeling like everyone has come together, and of course giving and receiving presents!

2. What is your favourite Christmas film? Hmm this is a hard one. Every year I always watch all the Christmas super cringey films on channel 5 and I absolutely love them. I just don't have a specific favourite but I'm up for watching any!

3. Real tree or fake tree? Definitely a real tree just because I love the smell of a pine tree and we've always had one. But if I had to put it up myself I'd probably end up going for a fake one because let's face it, they're way more convenient.

4. Giving presents or receiving them? I'd have to say giving. I just love finding that perfect present for someone and seeing their face when they open it. Of course I love receiving too, but giving is definitely better.

5. Do you open your presents Christmas morning or evening? First thing in the morning because I'm impatient. I don't get opening them in the evening!

6. What tops your tree? A fairy!

7. As a child, what was the one crazy, wild, extravagant gift you asked for but never received? I can't remember any I didn't receive but one time I actually drew a picture of the plushie I wanted for Christmas and sent it to Santa, and my mum actually made an exact replica of my drawing so I wouldn't be disappointed. Possibly one of the cutest things ever.

8. Handmade Christmas cards or bought? I'd have to say bought because I can't make card to save my life - but I love buying ones handmade by other people!

9. What's your favourite Christmas food? Stuffing, it's one of my absolute favourite things!

10. Do you have any Christmas Eve Traditions? Nope, we have none at all!

Thanks for reading lovelies! And make sure to let me know if you follow any Christmas traditions yourself!

  1. My family have a tradition on Christmas Eve: we are allowed to open one little present! It's SO exciting and makes us even more impatient for the following morning haha!

  3. Aw, love reading other people sharing their traditions for christmas. For my family we always watch a home alone on christmas night. When we watch it we keep a tally on how many times (realistically) Harry and Marv would have died, had grievous bodily harm or gotten a concussion. It's always such a fun time! x
