Lush | Sparkly Pumpkin Bubble Bar

Hello Lovelies! After how much I enjoyed Lush's Lord of Misrule Bath Bomb, I was incredibly excited to finally try their Sparkly Pumpkin Bubble Bar (£3.65). I actually didn't get one of these last year which will probably surprise some of you - 2014 me wasn't actually quite so obsessed with Lush... Oh how things have changed!

Most of you are used to me raving about how much I love Lush's bath bombs, but actually I really do love Lush's bubble bars too. They don't offer the glitz and glam of bath bombs, however when they're done right they can leave you with an amazingly soft and beautifully bubbly bath. And in this sense Sparkly Pumpkin definitely didn't disappoint. It's a simple design but I love the fact that it's covered in glitter with a cinnamon stick in the centre. One of my favourite aspects of this bath bomb is the scent. It's a lovely mix of Grapefruit oil, Lime Oil and Juniperberry Oil which give it a warm yet sweet scent. When you crumble this under your tap, it turns the water a lovely light orange almost yellow colour (my camera made it look much more yellow than it is!) and produces lots of lovely silky smooth bubbles whilst still retaining its beautiful scent.

Whilst I used the whole bubble bar in one bath, you could easily stretch this to two and possibly even three baths so it's pretty good value although I wish Lush had made it a bit bigger! All in all though, I am very impressed by Sparkly Pumpkin and am going to have to fight the temptation to buy another for Halloween!

Thank you for reading lovelies! Are you going to try any of Lush's Halloween products this year? Let me know in the comment section below.

  8. Last time I was in Lush which was like a week ago I swear there was barely any halloween stuff.
Really want to get some items for Halloween this year as I only ventured out to Lush at Christmas in 2014. This product looks really good. I love cinnamon scents so this could be a winner.

  10. Great mix of oils, it must smell like heaven. I just wondered if the scent lingers, that would be nice. How pretty is that yellow bath water!
