Review: Bourjois's Paris Maxi Delight Bronzer

Hello Lovelies! After having a bit of a Lush overload on the blog, I thought I'd share with you something from one of my other favourite brands, Bourjois. If you saw my Boots Makeup Haul, you'll already know that I got this as part of a free Bourjois gift when you spend £15.00 on their products.

I should probably say before I start this review that I really don't use bronzers very often - I'm much more of a blusher girl so when it comes to bronzers I really don't have much to compare The Bourjois Paris Maxi Delight Bronzer (£8.99) to. First impressions is that this is definitely a bit too dark for me as it does say on the packaging that it's for olive or tanned skin - not for 'pale as a ghost' types. I looked it up on the website and I think it might only come in one shade, but I'm not 100% sure, so please do let me know if there are darker or lighter shades!

Now on to the positives about this bronzer, it applies like an absolute dream. It blends so well into skin and doesn't feel horrible or powdery at all. In terms of colour, I'm a little on the fence about it as it does seem to be a little too orange but that's probably just because it's a shade too dark for me. It also has a glitter finish which is great if you like a shimmery makeup look but might be a little too much if you prefer a natural look. Also, this does have a scent to it too, and smells like summer to me? I'm terrible at scents but it smells quite similar to sun cream - so if you don't like scented face products this won't be for you!

All in all I think that the Paris Maxi Delight Bronzer is a good buy especially as it's a really good size and quality.

Thank you for reading lovelies! What's your favourite bronzer?

  1. This sounds really good, I bought the S&G wonder bronze and it's nice and shimmery but I need to get a bronzing brush bc the one I used made it look too harsh on me

    1. My sister has that and it is really good but I agree a great bronzer brush makes all the difference. I got this free with a great bronzer brush from Bourjois :) x
