Review: Lush's Love Soap

Hello Lovelies! Today is another Lush review (I know, I've done so many recently) because honestly I couldn't wait to share this product with you as soon as I got it. It's two things that I'm passionate about rolled in to one, Lush and Gay rights.

Weekly Homeware/Gifts Picks (29th June - 5th July)

Hello Lovelies! Last week was a little quiet on the blog because honestly I was feeling a bit uninspired plus life was just getting in the way - somehow I'm less productive than when I was at university even though I have more free time? But anyway, this week is a selection of really lovely items from Society 6, Joy, UniqueandUnity and Oliver Bonas!

Review: Lush's Little Dragon Bubble Bar

Hello Lovelies! Can we just take a moment to appreciate this Little Dragon Reusable Bubble Bar (£5.95)? It is definitely one of the most awesome Lush designs to date. But beyond the looks it has a lovely fiery scent too which perfectly fits the dragon design (I'm pretty sure there's cinnamon in there somewhere).

Review: Lush's Pink Flamingo Bubble Bar

Hello Lovelies! Today it's another Oxford Street Exclusive Lush review, and this time it's the reusable Pink Flamingo Bubble Bar (£5.95). I actually bought this on my first visit (on the day the store opened) and I can remember how excited I was when I spotted this. The little girl inside of me fell in love instantly, and it was actually the first product to make it into my basket.

The smell of this bubble bar also takes me back to my childhood, as it has a nostalgic smell of fruit punch sweets, and is sweet without being sickly sweet. Whilst this bubble bar wins on design and scent, I was a little disappointed. When you pick this one up in store, you'll probably notice that the flamingo feels like it might fall of the stick its on, as the flamingo is pretty heavy. And unfortunately this bubble bar did prove to be quite weak and after the first bath it ended up like this:

Weekly Homeware/Gifts Picks (22nd June - 28th June)

Hello Lovelies! Every now and then I stumble across a new Homeware site and just completely fall in love. And this week it happened all over again when I found Lily Rose Co. They have the cutest stuff there with a range of Homeware, gifts and party products all perfectly selected. What's even better is that one of the owners is a blogger too, and runs the absolutely beautiful blog Beauty Full Homes. So as you may have guessed all this week's picks are from Lily Rose Co - a sign that I'm just a bit too in love with them. Hope you enjoy lovelies!

My Style Icon, Audrey Hepburn

Hello Lovelies! Today I'm doing something a little different, and bringing you an Audrey Hepburn inspired makeup look. For those of you who haven't heard, House of Fraser are holding a competition to find their own Beauty Ambassador who will win £1000 of makeup, be invited to events and write content for House of Fraser (find the full details here). They asked bloggers to talk about their style icon, and create a makeup look inspired by them. It's an amazing opportunity, so definitely get involved if you can!

Lush | Guardian Of The Forest Bath Bomb

Hello Lovelies! On first impressions I definitely fell in love with this bath bomb, how cool is the name and the design? Guardian of the forest (£3.35) has an intriguing smell that definitely matches its appearance. It's incredibly hard to describe, so I'm not even going to try to. Lush says that it's a mossy bath bomb, with rosewood oil which gives it a quite forest-y scent with a dash of sweetness.

Youtube | Boots Makeup Haul

Hello Lovelies! Today I'm back with another youtube video! I'm actually starting to get used to doing these, although I still get annoyed at my bad lighting and camera quality but unless I get a really good camera, I'm just going to have to get used to it. I hope you enjoy lovelies, and if you do watch the video - thanks a lot!

Ask The Bloggers #1 What's Your Best Blogging Advice?

Hello Lovelies! Believe it or not I came up with the idea for this series all the way back in January, and now in June, I have finally got round to posting it and making it happen. The 'Ask The Bloggers' series is something that I hope will bring some of us from the blogging community together and be helpful to those of you who blog, or are thinking of starting a blog. Every post I'll be asking a few bloggers a question, and in this installment the question is:

Review: Bourjois Magic 2-in-1 Nail Polish Remover

Hello Lovelies! After using the cheapest nail polish remover for as long as I can remember, I thought it was about time I tried something a little pricier to see if it is really worth the money. So I picked up Bourjois's Magic 2-in-1 Nail Polish Remover (£5.99) to see if it spending a few extra pounds would be good value in the end. If you're wondering this nail polish remover is a upgraded version of their other Magic Nail remover (£4.99), the difference being that you can use this one for toenails as well as nails.

Weekly Homeware/Gifts Picks (15th June - 21st June)

Hello Lovelies! This week I've been really uninspired, meaning that it seemed to take forever to pick out anything at all. If you know me well, I am super picky when it comes to homeware, so I ended up searching everywhere to find something special. As it turned out I stumbled across some things I really love, so I hope you enjoy them too - even though it's a very random selection! Picks are from David Shrigley, Baines&Fricker, Joules, UniqueandUnity, MiniModerns and Andrea Lauren.

Review: Garnier Express 2 in 1 Eye Makeup Remover

Hello Lovelies! I'm sure most of us are tired to death of hearing about Garnier's Micellar Cleansing Water and how amazing it is (If you're wondering I loved it too) so instead of telling you what I thought of that, I'm reviewing their Express 2 in 1 Eye Makeup Remover instead (£3.50).

Lush | Frozen Bath Bomb

Hey Lovelies! Let It Go is officially stuck in my head again as I bring you my review of the awesome Frozen bath bomb (£3.75)! Obviously this bath bomb is themed around the Disney film, using the blue colours of Elsa's dress. Scent wise it has a relaxing mix of grapefruit and neroli, that's a nice refreshing, not too in your face scent.

Photography | Visit To London Zoo

Hello Lovelies! It's been a while since I've done a photography post, so I thought I'd share with you some of the pictures I took at London zoo. Admittedly these were all taken at the aquarium there - but that was the place I found the most inspiring photography wise as it's just amazing the colours and textures you can see underwater. It's also a nightmare to take photos, because fish generally don't like hanging around and trying to take a picture without the glass reflecting is also a bit of a challenge. That said I hope you like the pictures I took, and let me know if you want to see more photography posts or not!

Case App Phone Case Review + Worldwide Giveaway!

Hello Lovelies! Recently I got contacted by the lovely people at caseapp who asked me if I wanted to make my own custom phone case design* - and obviously I jumped at the chance. On caseapp's site you can choose from pre-made designs (which you can still adjust and edit) or design your own case using their graphics or your own photos.

Beauty | June Step Outside Birchbox

Hello Lovelies! This month Birchbox collaborated with French Sole, to create three unique box designs, one with a classic breton stripe, another with a beautiful floral watercolour design and finally this fun print one (above). If you don't know already, each month's Birchbox* costs £10.00 per month (post and packaging is an extra £2.95). I really loved the fact that you could choose which box design you wanted as it felt like a really personal touch - especially as each box comes with a cute shoe bag too. That said, I had some pretty mixed feelings about this month's box!

Weekly Homeware/Gifts Picks (8th June - 14th June)

Hello Lovelies! This week I'm bringing you a pretty random selection of Homeware and gifts from a Shell soap dispenser to a beautiful colouring book for adults. The pieces from this week come from Oliver Bonas, Zara Home, Heather Landis (society6), Unique and Unity and Urban Outfitters!

Review: Mua Limited Edition 5th Birthday Eyeshadow Palette

Hello Lovelies! It's been a while since I've reviewed eye shadow on my blog, which is a bit weird because I have been absolutely loving eyeshadow at the moment and have become a little bit too obsessed. When I saw this Limited Edition Mua 5th Birthday Eyeshadow palette (£4.00), it was definitely hard to resist because 1) It's limited edition! and 2) just look at THOSE shades. I feel like Mua has been really eclipsed by Makeup Revolution lately as everyone has been raving about their budget eyeshadow palettes (they are amazing to be fair), but Mua also offer some really great budget eyeshadow palettes too.

Food | Six Fun Afternoon Teas In London

Hey Lovelies! In true British fashion, there is nothing I love more than a good ol' afternoon tea. Whilst I do like a traditional afternoon tea (I have an unhealthy obsession with scones), I won't say no to a bit of novelty and a fun twist on an original. So I put together this list of six fun afternoon teas in London ranging from Afternoon Tea on a bus to a Charlie and the Chocolate Factory inspired creation.

Review: Lush's Sacred Lotus Bath Bomb

Hello Lovelies! Today I am back again with another Oxford Street Exclusive Lush review! The Sacred Lotus Bath Bomb (£3.50) is probably one of my all time favourite Lush designs and names, with its beautiful petal detail and pretty colours. It also smells absolutely lovely with a mix of Tunisian neroli and Jasmine, giving it an ever so slightly sweet and relaxing floral scent.

Youtube | May Favourites

Hello Lovelies! I've somehow never done a favourites post before - which is really unusual in the blogging world but here is my first one. Instead of just beauty I thought I'd talk about a whole range of things I've loved this month. I'm also still very nervous about youtube because it makes me feel really self conscious but I thought I'd give it another go:

Call Me Caitlyn

Hello Lovelies! Unless you've been living under a rock then you'll already know about Caitlyn Jenner and her Vanity Fair cover. Yesterday my twitter feed was absolutely flooded with people congratulating her, and praising her for how gorgeous she looks (because let's face it, she's a stunner at 65!).

But on a much more serious note, seeing the incredibly positive way that most people responded to her transition made me pretty emotional, and I did end up in an absolute flood of happy tears.

Weekly Homeware/Gifts Picks (1st June - 7th June)

Hello Lovelies! This week's picks are a whole of jumble of things from antique style, to kitsch to shabby chic. I somehow stumbled back on to the Oliver Bonas website again, and was for the millionth time really impressed with their collection (I always love EVERYTHING). The other pieces featured this week come from Craftberrybush (on Society6), Cath Kidston, Sass&Belle and Urban Outfitters!
