Review: Barry M Summer Love Palette

Even though Summer is basically over (I'm still clinging on!), I still wanted to review this Barry M Summer Love Palette, because I'm in love with how pretty the eyeshadow colours are. The palette (£6.49) comes in this really pretty mint cardboard case, with a mirror and two double end applicators.

The palette has six eyeshadows and helpfully also has a highlighter in it too. The eyeshadows as you can see from above, are quite faint but that means they have quite a subtle shimmery look - which is perfect if you want a more natural look with your makeup. The pastel blue by far is the most dramatic of all the colours (as you can probably see) but you can build up the others to make them bolder if you want. The downside of the eye shadows is that they they easily crumble - my palette is already looking quite messy and you have to be careful when applying it to make sure it doesn't fall onto your lashes. The highlighter is great and works really well, rather than a powder it's a cream product so is easy to apply. At the price of £6.49 I think this is really good value, as you get a great colour selection.

Hope this was helpful, have a great day lovelies!

  1. Aw this looks really nice :) I love how all brands are now bringing all these palettes! There are a few shades in this one that are just too light for me though so I am hoping they will bring an A/W one out as well! xx

    1. They're reasonably long lasting but not amazing, I'd definitely use a primer with them :)
