Lush | Elsie The Giraffe (You're Having a Bath) Reusable Bubble Bar

Elsie-Reusable-Bubble-Bar

Hello Lovelies! Before we say anything about how I got on with this bubble bar, can we take a minute to appreciate how cute it is? Elsie The Giraffe is one of the cutest and probably cleverest product designs I've seen from Lush, even if it breaks apart really easily. Elsie has a lovely zingy scent made up of lime, lemon and geranium which combine to create a strong and in my opinion completely lovely citrus scent.

When I used Elsie I decided to remove the head and body and use them separately. This is the easier way as you don't have the problem of storing two soaking bits of bubble bar which is quite annoying. If you read my reviews of Lush products a lot, you'll know I'm not exactly a massive fan of the reusable ones. That said Elsie produced a super lovely bath, with lots of amazing fluffy bubbles and a sort of yellow/green coloured bath. So I reckon you could easily get about six baths out of this which for the £6.95 price tag is pretty good value.

All in all I really enjoyed using Elsie. As with all the reusable bubble bars I never think they quite match the quality of the normal ones, but Elsie does come pretty close. Plus she's just such a wonderful spring-y addition to the Lush Mother's Day collection, I'm in love.

Thanks for reading lovelies! Have a great week!

  2. That's the first time I see this bubble bar, how cute! It is indeed a really smart design. The fact that it's in two parts is great to use both sides for different baths as you did, even though ultimately reusable bubble bars can be a little annoying because storing them when they're wet can make a bit of a mess! The colour of the bath after is super pretty though. Perfect for spring!

  3. This makes more sense as it's two parts instead of just one. It's been more than a year I've bought anything from Lush, I really need to check what's new with the brand.

  4. This sounds so lovely! I went to Lush a couple weeks ago and this wasn't available here yet but I can't wait to go back this Thursday and see how I like the scent. I got so many Easter products though :)x
