Lush | A Bunch of Carrots Reusable Bubble Bar

Hello Lovelies! Today's post is super late - you can blame my cough medicine for that! But I thought even in my drowsy state I'd write my last Lush Easter review (phew!). Today's product is a remake from last year's product of the same name, A Bunch of Carrots Reusable Bubble Bar (£6.25). The main difference is that last year all the carrots were orange, but this year as you can see Lush have changed two of them to rather funky pink and purple ones. I actually didn't like this at first because I favoured them looking exactly like carrots, but the Scrooge in me died and I fell for all the pretty colours.

Scent wise A Bunch of Carrots has a lovely fruity scent, that isn't particularly overpowering but almost tropical scented. So I think it would appeal to quite a lot of people, especially those who hate how strong Lush's scents can be. When you use these it's best to break the carrots apart and use them separately, especially as that makes storage easier. After using one of these, it's best to dry it a little and either put it somewhere dry upright or back in the Lush packaging (which has so far worked for me). Leaving them damp and undried will just leave you with what appears to be a mouldy carrot - I speak from experience last year when I left one of the side of my bath and my sister actually thought it was an old carrot! Not pretty! Each of these carrots is formulated the same way so essentially the only difference is the colour, which I didn't actually think really differed much with the pink and purple one - but that might just be me! But each of these produce as you'd expect from Lush a lovely bubbly bath. I wouldn't say one that is particularly special, simply because the scent fades away quite quickly and it could create more bubbles, but nevertheless I managed to get six baths I really enjoyed from this bunch - so I'm not complaining!

All in all I did enjoy A Bunch of Carrots Reusable Bubble Bar, as I think it's a really fun Easter gimmick. Is it my favourite from the collection? No, but it's a lot of fun!

  3. I had one of these bunches last year or the year before but they were all orange! So I like they're multicolored now! Shame about the pigmentation though! Lush's products are usually top of the scale!

  5. This bubble bar is so cute, however like you I'd prefer that all of them were orange. The best thing about this product is the number of time you're able to use it I think - six baths is pretty good! As for the scent and effects in the water, this won't be my favourite either. :)

  6. I love the design of this bath bomb, sometimes it's all about the novelty. I don't mind the different colours and carrots can naturally be purple so it's not that weird either. Shame the scents not that long lasting. =^-^=
