Lush | Stardust Bath Bomb

Hello Lovelies! There's a big debate going on at the moment, dividing families and friends, and that's 'Is it Christmas yet?' And honestly, I'll be the first to admit I'm already in the Christmasy mood. I've already had two Gingerbread lattes, listened to a Christmas playlist and watched the John Lewis Christmas advert. I just really like Christmas, ok?
Stardust (£2.95) is one of the more affordable products from the Christmas range. It's an adorable little sparkly white star with the most gorgeous vanilla scent that I am totally in love with (also has rosewood oil and bergamot oil!). Out of all the collection, it's not one of the most eye-catching ones but I do love how simple and pretty the design is. But unfortunately I was a little underwhelmed by Stardust. Now I don't know if this is because mine wasn't made very well but mine was mostly white with about four stars and only a tiny tiny bit of blue. That said, I have read other peoples reviews and they've had a much better bath display with a nice pop of blue and lots of pretty multi-coloured stars so maybe I was just unlucky?

All in all though I have hope for this little bath bomb. Seeing as it's not too expensive, I'm sure I'll pick up another and see if it looks prettier in the bath next time. Luckily though, even if it didn't impress me visually it made my bath smell amazing and my bath water felt so lovely!

Thank you for reading lovelies! Do let me know if you've used Stardust and how you got on with it!

  1. I love the shape of this product but that's about it, a little harsh maybe but I go to Lush for products that wow me, I'm sure there are others who love this product though. =^-^=

    1. Haha no I agree with you Sam! Butterbear is about the only product I really love that doesn't have the wow factor, it just has a special place in my heart. But like you say, I'm sure there are plenty of people who will love this! x

  2. I am in love with the Christmas products but when I went last week decided to only pick up Halloween items as I thought it was a bit early for the Christmas ones. However, next time I go I am picking up as many as possible, including this one!!!

  4. Ooo am going to have to check this one out. Am not massively fussed about bathtub 'wowness' am more about the smell and if it lingers on the skin - I need a good linger haha.

    1. Haha 'I need a good linger' that's hilarious. I always find explaining what I love about Lush products so awkward as practically every description sounds weird. And yeah this is probably perfect for you then :)

  5. I'll be heading to the next city end of this month so I'll be doing a LUSh haul. Will keep this in mind and hopefully I will be more impressed by it. I plan to pick up their mask this time too!

    1. Ooh I'd love to see a Lush haul from you! You should try some of their bubble bars as I feel like you'd really like them. I've never tried a Lush face mask though, can you believe it?

  6. Ohhh I'm definitely in the Christmassy mood too! I'm tempted by this, as I find Lush can be really pricey if you shop there regularly! Might give it a try! x

  7. I live for your Lush reviews haha. I've just written the first draft to my Lush Christmas post which will be up in December hehe. I'm also listening to Christmas music as I type, have seen the John Lewis advert (omg I nearly cried) and have had plenty of Christmas drinks from Starbucks this week. Also, now that I work in Lush, when I see you listing ingredients I just think of the benefits they have haha.

  8. It's been Christmas since October for me, really. I CANNOT wait for the festive season to roll up, ahh! The bomb sounds lovely but shame about the underwhelming experience. If you do get it again next time, let us know how it goes!
