Lush | Yoga Bath Bomb

Hello Lovelies! Yoga Bomb (£3.95) is one of those bath bombs that never really caught my eye. Every time I went to the Oxford Street store (five times too many!) I ended up getting distracted by all the other beautiful bath bombs like The Experimenter and Sacred Lotus and completely forgetting about Yoga Bomb. But as you can expect with Lush, it's often the most simple looking bath bombs that have the most gorgeous surprises inside them and Yoga Bomb is definitely not an exception. And the best part is that it's now available online, so you can get your own without having to trek to Oxford Street!

Reluctantly I bought my first Yoga Bomb two weeks ago, and decided that it was about time I gave it a chance. What I will say is that I'm not a big fan of the scent at all - but that's only because it's not my cup of tea! It's a punchy woody scent of Sandalwood and Cassie Absolute, so perfect for anyone who doesn't tend to steer towards the sweeter scents. When you drop Yoga Bomb in to your bath, you are instantly hit with a gorgeous eruption of colour - bold yellow and orange with lustre. Yoga Bomb is a slow dissolver, and releases orange and yellow before eventually spurting out purple and green too. It's perfect if you love watching a bath bomb dissolve for a long time, and like its name would suggest it's incredibly calming especially as it makes your water so lovely and soft! If you've ever wondered how I do my Lush reviews, it normally involves me standing fully clothed with a camera taking photos whilst my parents, sister and sometimes even dog come in to have a look. So the longer dissolvers are always a bit of a pain, because I'm usually kneeling in front of my bath and wanting it to dissolve already and killing my camera's battery. Ah the glamorous blogging life... But Lush reviews are one of my favourite things to blog about here nonetheless, so thank you to every one who reads them - it means a lot! You all somewhat justify the ridiculous amount I spend on Lush.

All in all I think this is a great bath bomb and offers a more grown up alternative to the likes of Frozen, Intergalactic and The Experimenter. It's perfect if you want a beautiful yet calming bath for the end of a long day.

Thank you for reading lovelies! If you missed my unboxing of the Pawsome Box with my adorable dog Molly, check it out here as I also have a 25% discount code to share with you for your own first Pawsome box!

  1. I actually used it on the night before my exam and it really helped me to calm down. So I think that's one of the good things about it x

  2. I probably wouldn't like the scent of this either as I'm all about sweet scents, however it still sounds amazing and looks so pretty!

  3. Ohh, this is definitely one of the prettier ones (when dissolved) that have been featured here. I would buy it just for the name itself!
