What To Watch Wednesday #4

Hello Lovelies! Today I'm back with the penultimate edition of What To Watch Wednesday, as this mini series will be ending next week! Among today's choices is as you can probably tell from above is one of my favourite shows Sherlock (because how can you not love Benedict?) and a few films as well. I hope you enjoy - and if you have exams save these recommendations for later (this isn't an excuse to procrastinate haha).

SLIDING DOORS (99 MINS)

Sliding Doors follows Helen (Paltrow) through two different hypothetical realities, decided by whether or not she catches a tube train. In one reality she gets home early and catches her boyfriend in bed with another woman, the other she never finds out. The film runs these realities side by side, exploring the idea of how one little event can change our lives so drastically - and whether fate really exists.

WAIT UNTIL DARK (108 MINS)

If you ever doubted Audrey Hepburn's acting ability, then watch Wait Until Dark and you'll see what a great actress she really is. The story revolves around Susy, a recently blinded woman who, when her husband leaves her alone at home is terrorised by a group of criminals looking for a doll that they believed is stuffed with heroin. Blind and vulnerable, Susy finds herself desperately trying to stay safe. A brilliant thriller - with so many tense moments.

SHERLOCK (90 MINS PER EP)

If you haven't yet seen an episode of Sherlock, you are really missing out. Sherlock brings the classic detective into the modern world, as an anti-social, arrogant, ridiculously clever but surprisingly charming consultant detective whilst Watson is portrayed as a recovering war doctor. Expect amazing mysteries, with mind-blowing solutions - and lots of British humour and charm.

THE SEPTEMBER ISSUE (90 MINS)

The September Issue takes you behind the scenes of the Vogue's September issue in 2007 and provides a real insight into the way the fashion industry works. If you're a bit of a fashion nerd, you'll love seeing a more personal side to Anna Wintour and Grace Coddington, whilst they sculpt the most important issue of the year.

Thank you for reading lovelies! I'd love to know if you have any recommendations for me - and if you've seen any of these! Let me know in the comment section below!
