Lush | Bunch of Carrots Bubble Bar

Hey Lovelies! The weather in London is awful today, cold and rainy, so I thought I'd review one of Lush's Easter collection to brighten up the day a bit. First off I have to congratulate Lush on the design and the idea of this, it's just so perfect and fun for Easter like all of their collection. Lush's Bunch of Carrots are definitely on the pricier side at £5.95, but they can be used for several baths so you do get value for money - don't worry! The scent reminds me a lot of their Snowman Shower Jelly as it's this fruity scent that is quite citrusy to me at least. However, the scent is definitely much more subtle when you use the bubble bar, which was a little disappointing as I love the punchiness of this scent.

When you use the Bunch of Carrots you have quite a few options. You can either detach the carrots one by one and use them individually, or use them as a bunch. Personally I decided to use them as a bunch, although I would recommend using them individually so that they last longer. When you run these under water, they very slowly produce bubbles and beautiful orange/yellowy water, that feels incredibly soft and silky to the skin. The texture of the bubble bar is very hard, so you don't have to worry about it crumbling away very quickly like a normal bubble bar. I tried breaking one under the tap as an experiment and it didn't really work, so don't try doing that!

After using the bubble bar, make sure you store it in a dry place, for some reason lazy ol' me decided to not do this and just leave them on the side of my bath. When you do this, it's not pretty, they dry and shrivel up and actually funnily enough look like old carrots - so make sure you store them somewhere dry!

All in all, I did love the scent and design of the Bunch of Carrots Bubble Bar, but I wasn't blown away by it like some of the other bubble bars I've used from them. One of the main things that was slightly annoying is how long it took for the bubble bar to produce bubbles - but this just comes with the nature of it being reusable which I know for many people will be a massive plus.

Thank you for reading lovelies and don't forget to comment down below to tell me what you think of Lush's carrot bubble bar! And don't forget to check out my other reviews from Lush's Easter collection: Hoppity Poppity and Golden Egg!

  8. These look cute but they don't sound as practical having to store them away somewhere dry for the next time and the fact that it takes a while for the bubbles to form. That being said I love Lush and really want to get some of their Easter stuff x

    1. Yeah, I guess it's best if you just use these one by one but even then there's still a little bit of a problem with storage!

  9. Those really look like carrots! I would have purchased it and leave it on the kitchen top just to see if my husband will pick it up for a snack, that would make me LMAO for real. LOL!
