Review: Zoella Beauty Fizz Bar

Hey Lovelies! Today I'm really excited as I just got Zoella's Fizz Bar from her new beauty range. The Fizz Bar retails at £5.00, and comes in a chocolate bar like shape with cubes of fizzers. First off I really love the packaging across her whole line, I think the polka dot design is so pretty!

I also really love the idea of it being cubes you can break off, although that said (maybe I'm just a weakling) but it was quite hard to actually break them off because the bar is so thick. I was genuinely worried I'd have to cut into it or something!

I have to say though I was a bit disappointed with the product, just because there wasn't a very big impact from the fizz bar. I used one cube, and it fizzed away nicely but apart from fragrance there wasn't really a noticeable change in the water like you'd get from a Lush bath bomb or something like that.

That said, I love the smell of the fizz bar and it does create quite a calming relaxed atmosphere for your bath. It doesn't have a dramatic effect but it does leave your bath water with a nice smell. I would suggest using two cubes though rather than just one as I don't think one is really enough.

If you like the look of this product or Zoella's range, you can find out about them here. Personally I love the products she's come out with but I wish that she'd had more actual beauty products like lip sticks or eye shadows rather than predominately bath products. But I'm sure if she has success with this line, she'll expand to other products.

What do you think of Zoella's beauty line? Have you tried anything from it yet?

  5. I would have loved to have tried her bath line..sadly they aren't available in Canada, but again I'm sure if the line does really well she may think of bringing it to other places. The packaging is really cute too and the makeup bags, I love the mint green one so cute!!

  9. Hmm, maybe they should look into adding something special about it. Like some glitter or another color! Lovely review. It's hare to find something that matches Lush quality though!

  10. I know in Alfie's vlog he used two cubes. Maybe if you use two it might make a difference.
I'm so excited about these products though.

  14. Thank you for letting me know your opinion, I don't think I'll be purchasing this because I love a strong bath colour and also a lot of products irritate my skin unless they're like expensive places such as lush. Cx

    1. Yeah I honestly don't think it's the best quality. It's fun to use but other than it being Zoella's product, It's not too exciting!

  15. Shame it wasn't as dramatic as Lush products, but I'm curious about the smell! It's probably designed to just be a little fizz rather than something Lush would come out with, but it does seem odd that Zoe didn't want to make it colourful or anything!
I have yet to buy something from her range but really the makeup bags, body spray and candle are the only things that really appeal to me!

    1. Honestly the second time I used it, the smell did disappear pretty quickly so I'm not really sure it's great value for money if I'm honest. I do love the idea of it though! I'm very tempted to buy another one of the products, but the candle is actually pretty small in real life, so I was put off from buying that. Do love the blue makeup bag though!
